Love VS Arranged marraiges
I know we had debates on this topic, but here want bring some reality check, undestand not always applicable but experience counts
If you or based on experience of close friend/family who had love marraige whats your take - would you preach love marriage or arranged marriages?
Either , depend alot upon folks themselves.
But I would suggest now .. especially with changing attitude of society in general better know something about your future spouse. Don't think you would change them ..no one changes dramatically so if you feel there is some big mismatch don't go for it even if it is arrange with full support of family cause eventually it is you and your spouse who matter most and no one can solve problems on your behalf.

I am happy with love marriage and would advocate it, but then I look at my parents and arranged marriage doesn't seem bad either. I think it's not how you got married, but what you make of it that's more important
To an extent but how you start decides how far can you go.... Love marriages which are really love marriages and not like two colleagues working at the office who ften flirt, have friendly banters...etc....is a tough situation.. Most people find love marriages where there is not really love just some indifferent yet congenial behavior....and many times some have to poke hard to kick that person out of dormancy...the good example is Rani in kank... who wouldnt realize that she would want something else until SRK points it out to her...

So I would surely love to have love marriage.... and I am sure it can be successful with me if I get my soulmate....
(thts because I will see the personality that I dont need to change 
).... Most important is looks shall not be criteria for love.... in love marriage..... because looks are not going to last till life
I cannot agree completely with your view Kabhi. Personality (yours and hers)can change too and likes and dislikes take a whole new meaning every few years as a person grows. 
or else why would almost everyone end up with a couch potato.

Yes but when persoality changes afterwards.... you can analyse the reasons behind it..... noone is perfect and person evolves throughout life..... however when you love someone and know the person so well..... you can analyse changes in the person and may be some characteristic going against what you want (like smoking or drinking) you can know how to bring the person back...... because you know the person so well but whatever things are present when you meet the person and come to know and love the person are not easy to change.... because the person contends you loved me for what i am and what happened now
