Chekhov is the master of short stories.

I also really liked "A Rose for Emily" by William Faulkner.

i really like the "Graduation"

Its really sad, and really nicely written,, forgot the authors name

enid blyton and the umbrella man by roald dahl... in fact all of the short stories written by roald dahl
