Being thin could help cut the risk of developing cancer. Would you lose weight to avoid cancer?
The World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) has published a report highlighting the links between diet, obesity and cancer.
They advise people not to gain weight as an adult and to avoid sugary drinks and alcohol. Even eating bacon or ham could increase the risk of getting cancer.
They say the best way to avoid cancer is to stay as thin as possible without becoming underweight.
Have you been affected by cancer? Do you have any questions about this report? Would you change your diet to prevent cancer? Would you rather not know about the risks to your health from eating certain types of foods??
