i can read and write it.
i do understad punjabi very well guys please don't take me wrong and i am not lying.

born and raised in canada yet my punjabi is excellent. Embarrassed

my nani taught me how to read and write punjabi when i was just 6.....reading is no problem but writing is a bit tough.

right now my goal is to teach my kids punjabi too. when my son tries to speak to me in english i just tell him that "menoo english samajh ni aundi, punjabi vich gal kar." LOL

yeah it does work b/c then he just repeats it in punjabi.

i know punj quite well..i don't understand punj songs tho..sometimes. but otherwise if i m having a normal convo ..my punjabi is vry good. i can also read n write it...but i m veryy veryy slow at reading it. u can prolly take a nap by the time i finish reading half a page of punjabi LOL
