These morons..donot bother about the army people in their nations..who die for the sake of their country...

@ your comment highlighted in Blue: I would be more careful before declaring the 2 societies as societies of morons. Are you branding yourself a moron or all of us together declared as moron?... Sorry in advance if I misunderstood your comment highlighted in blue. But if my understanding is right, I just disagree with you 100%. If my understanding is incorrect, please tell me and I shall edit my comment here.

@ your comment highlighted in Orange: Myth, a World championship is a world championship and must be rewarded to the fullest. The Nehru Cup winners were rewarded but not to this extent because Nehru Cup, in mind is not even close to the World Championship. I highly doubt if the Indian Soccer player don't end up being crorepatis if they as much as just reached the 32 qualifiers of the world cup (forget about winning the world cup).πŸ˜ƒ If they ever won that world cup, they will be ruling this nation like nobody has ever dreamt of. RajyaWardhan Singh was awarded 50 Lakhs by the central gov't for his silver winning performance in Olympics. Why forget that? Chances are he would have gotten crore or more if he had ended up winning the gold. In contrast, a gold winning US athelete makes "nothing" when compared to NBA or MLS or NFL stars. The 7 times Olympic Champion Michael Phelps vanished from media 2 months after the olympics.😊

I respect your views CKY 😊...Govt takes soomuch pain in releasing some funds for education, hospital ,roads in rural areas..they have very big methodology..to release that funds....but these above rewards and awards....given very easily..Yes! appreciation for the efforts of the players is essential..but is it necessary to give this much ??? Whose money are they giving???Its indirectly the money of the citizens......
Huh! Imagine the agony of pensioners...(particularly..the sub urban old employees who really take lot of pains..who need to go very difficult methodology..to get the little amount of pesnsion they need to get)..
Imagine..the agony of farmers....it really bothers..seeing their worry..they don't get quality power..they don't get good quality of seeds inspite of spending money..when they beg for loans..they don't get them easily ...the loan amounts are not some lakhs..they will be in some thousands.....GOVT DOES NOT REACT EASILY to these type of situations......which are really issues of life and death!!! That's why I say these administrators are Morons...
Regarding the aam janta....Don't regret saying that word Moron( a person with less common sense 😊)...Yes! Celebrate the victory/ Display your emotions....but celebrate /display in sensible manner..the same janta...burnt the effigies of all the cricketers..the same janta...broke all the bricks of the walls of DHONI 's new house which was under construction....becuase of poor performance of DHONI in then WORLD CUP....😊

Myth,

There is a saying... 2 wrongs don't make a right. If the administrators can't correct their loan system doesn't mean that they should stop giving awards to those who bring pride and glory to the country just because they missed their KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) somewhere else. That doesn't sound right. I am not absolving the same administrators of their misdeeds. But it is one thing to identify a few chosen award deserving ones than weeding the needle from the haystack of farmers who are creditworthy. In absence of a credit rating system, I can see how awesome that task could be. To me, creating the election identification card is a step in the right direction which hopefully, in future, will give way to more systematized menthod of establishing identification of creditworthy people and a system of follow up and follow through.

But if I was an administrator, I wouldn't wait for that day to happen to reward the deserving peopleπŸ˜ƒ. Maybe it is my captalist instinct here speaking but I do believe in the "survival of the fittest" theory.πŸ˜ƒ

Just a point of viewπŸ˜‰.

And also, USA is not a country of foolish people to invest billions in a country of MORONSπŸ˜‰.

Indian Cricket Board is the most wealthiest  one in the world and it is not a Govt. Organization.Yes, it is peoiple's money but not collected as tax.  After the commercialisation of the Cricket they got this much money. Please think about the old cricketers, some of them are not well off. Govt.s offers are only offers at least in the case of Kerala.  Some of the back dated promises are yet to fulfill.

Arrey ye to debate thread ban gaya πŸ˜†

Myth, I don't mind the monetary rewards being given to these players (except the 10 lakhs to Agarkar πŸ˜• ), but I do agree that our administrators should show the same speed when it comes to announcing relief measures and when allocating funds for essentials.

@ what did Pakistan get - I think by now Indian and Pakistani players should be used to these kind of reactions and not worry about them too much, but what upset me more was their not getting any prize money for being runners up.
