DOTW-List what u want to change in CID MW

In CID most wanted i wish to make some changes.. according to me if these improved then CID MW will be as popular as CID was😊.. will surely love to read urz😳

1. B.P Singh should be more imaginative with the cases, as everything seems a copy of either Hollywood thrillers or old Bollywood detective movies.

2. The use of the Forensic lab is decreasing day by day😭, it used to be the major part of the attraction.. the instruments and the tests..the detailed procudure to get a clue from tiniest objects.. the doctors aren't contributing much (I feel)😕

3. The sudden change in Muskaan was not really needed. Both Divyana and Muskaan could have managed the cases together. By making a practiced officer like Muskaan so immature.. what did they try to prove?😕  Now as she is being transfered, she is leaving behind a bad image of her.

4. They should start a lovestory soon in the CID team. I can see that Abhijeet is falling for Divyana.. now won't it be great if he kneels down to propose Divayana and just then ACP enters.. and scared Abhijeet starts fumbling and instead of I love u he says " Wud u like to be my sis"😆

 

Well:

1. I would like the Foresic lab to be like it was. In the older episodes, the forensic lab was a cool and nice place with Shweta K. I would like her back.

2. I would want some different cases. That might mean going out of the country or even just to another state.

3. A new wardrobe. I would love to see a new wardrobe for all the officers.

first of all,
1.they shld bring bak suspense factor,this simply chasing stuff is quite boring plus in the end of sum episodes they dunt bother even 2 clarify the cause of villian's deeds 😕 😕
2.muskaan's brain twisting moves were quite unnecessary i think...
3.forensic ;lady is not still used 2 act so she speakout evry thing in a same chewing manner plus her look is sumwht untidy...rateh then a doc she looks like a vamp or model type material with those long curly hair n those dresses......solanki sumtimes behaves like a stupid irritating kid....
4.they r badly in need 4 a new wardrobe xpect divyana,shes cool i think

1) no filmy stuff....just straight detectives
2) its becoming a cop villian show...it should have mysteries which are related to c.i.d and not police..
3) SUSPENCE SUSPENCE SUSPENCE!!!!! we need it!!!

I find that suspense is missing in CID MW. We viewers know from the beginning of episode who is the main villain.

umm the changes i wud like to have are:
i wud like to see more susupence..new wardrobe..muskaan shudnt hv left cid,, they had started this new twist in cid..bout muskaan being jealous frm divyana..but they hv jus left this twist un-ended..
but on the other hand...its a great drama..fun to watch..its a great detective show..one of mi fav.
but overall i luv it jus the wai it is..cuz it onli cumez once a week. 😉

I agree with everything you guys have said, but I think suspense is the biggest thing missing. I never imagined that they would eliminate the mystery factor. It's really annoying to have the culprit revealed from the start.

hmm here goes my list

• The opening act (the buildup to the crime before CID enters the story) is too long. The total length of the episode (without ads) is about 40 min and if they spend 7-8 minutes just on the opening then actual investigation is reduced to a measly half hour! 😕 They need to finish the opening act in about 2-3 min like they did this week and then focus on the investigation coz that is what we want to watch after all.



• The CID bureau looks strangely lifeless. They only show the main leads in the building all the time. Surely there are many other officers working in CID !! It just does not seem real to show only 5 ppl in the bureau all the time. They can't just leave the rest to our imagination esp since this is something that can be easily rectified by hiring several extras who can be placed in the background in the bureau - working on other cases, walking in the corridors, talking to the ACP once in a while, etc. They don't have to be given much focus at all. Just their presence in the background would be enough to breath some life into the bureau. Perhaps a minute or two can be given to an extra in some episodes to say something (bringing some info the ACP or something).



• A similar problem with Forensic Dept. It is very difficult to digest how ONE forensic specialist can doing literally everything in the forensic dept. They need to bring in more forensic specialists. Dr Salunkey can do the autopsies but there should be other ppl analysing trace evidence, DNA testing, audio/visual analysis, etc. They don't need to show ALL of them in every episode, just what is relevant to the current case. For example, if the case requires analysis of video tapes for tampering they can show the relevant specialist. If they need DNA analysis then that specialist can be shown. Salunkey can always be there for the autopsy reports of course. Although an additional doctor for autopsies now and then would be nice as well. They need to show different labs instead of one lab being used for autopsies, chemical analysis, fingerprinting, etc etc! Also, some extras positioned in the background to give the impression of a busy forensic dept would be nice. A few extra forensic people working at the crime scene would be great too.



• They often show suspects being present in the main office of the bureau while the team interrogates other ppl. This is again silly. The suspects should be held in another room. Why should they be part of the main investigation? What about security? They should be questioned in the other room when necessary.



• Bring back the mystery, the suspense! I seriously don't like this notion of revealing the culprit in the beginning. CID has always been about the mystery not the chase. This is a serious problem nowadays as I can't bring myself to enjoy the episodes anymore. Occasionally they can do this thing for a change but not every episode!



• They need to show some aspects of the team's personal lives sometimes, to bring more shades of their characters. Show them having personal conversations on a lunch break or something. Show some scenes in their homes sometimes. Not too much focus is needed, just 2-3 min every episode maybe.



• Consistency. A long time back, Daya once suggested to Salunkey that they could try zooming in on the eyes in a photo to see the killer in the reflection. The doctor (correctly) explained that this is impossible since cameras don't have that kind of resolution and this happens only in the movies. Then last year they actually did this zooming in thing to find a killer! They should at least be consistent with their internal logic and science.They also show the officers often handling the crime scene without gloves. Careless of the director(s)!



• End this ACP-Salunkey fight. It is boring now. They had their funny moments back during the early days when they were great friends. So why can't they continue as friends and still have funny moments?



• Too much Fredericks comedy. Ok he is a funny guy, we get it. But they do the same "silly Fredericks" thing again and again every episode. Nothing new at all. It has become boring now.



• Sometimes they can show the team split up doing different cases. Or one of them (Daya or Abhijeet I guess) sent on some solo undercover mission which can form a subplot for several episodes while the main team continues their weekly cases.



• Bring in another female cop. They always keep only 1 female cop in the team. Why? I think bringing in another one would be a nice change. They don't have to fight like Muskaan-Divyana at all. They can be respectable colleagues and all that. Friends even.
  

• They need to give the female cops more to do then just just be a pretty face. Seriously it's only Daya and Abhijeet doing anything. The rest don't do much at all, except on rare occasions. This needs to change.
  

• A female as a senior cop maybe? We have two senior inspectors and both are male. I think it would be an interesting change in  the dynamics of the show if they have a female senior cop as well.
  



• All episodes don't need to end with the same confession crying abnd the CID declaring that the culprit will be hanged or sentenced to death. Sometimes they can just arrest the guy and end it there without the crying and all. Sometimes they can show the arrest a bit earlier and then the case goes to court and the culprit tries some new tricks for which the team needs to do some investigation again. Sometimes the culprit can manage to get away (either via court or by escaping arrest). I remember they did do an episode long ago where they failed to capture the culprit. That was a great change from the norm! They need to do that again.



• I know the court isn't the focus of the show and this isn't Law and Order 😆 but the court be still be shown occasionally. For instance, one of the officers may be required to testify in court for one of the cases they solved earlier (a few episodes ago maybe) and they can show how he fares in court. Maybe he is uncomfortable with all the questioning and stuff. It'll be a nice break from the set formula for the episodes. They can also show the team running into legal hassles in some cases.



• The science has gone into insane realms. They come up with devices and methods that are far removed from the real world for the forensic investigation. Sometimes you'd wonder why they didn't do that in an earlier case! They need to tone down this sci-fi angle, esp with strange rays from machines traveling slowly from one end of the lab to another like some bizarre horror show. 😕 Bring back some realism please! There was no such sci-fi element when CID started off and the episodes were fantastic then! Why can't we go back to those times?!   😔



• Make the actual episode (ie run time without ads) a bit longer, say 43-45 min instead of the average 40 min. More room to balance out the story.

• A title sequence like they used to have earlier. I miss it.
  

• Perhaps once in a while they can have a continuing story arc. Like a serial killer they fail to catch in one episode and he keeps turning up in some episodes after that (with some independent cases in between of course!). More suspense, more fun! 😃



• How about having multiple CID teams instead of one? They could rotate the teams every episode so that each team appears in every other episode. Say Team A appears one week. Then Team B appears next week. Then Team A again. They can break this sequence once in a while of course. And the great ACP Pradyuman remains the boss of the teams obviously. Maybe even mix and match officers who transfer from one team to another. This will allow them to show more CID main characters without having to cram them all into the same episode.



• Why do they show the public calling CID and that too for each and every case? CID is a special department of the police. They do not deal with regular cases nor can any Tom, Dick or Harry just pick up the phone and call them to an investigation! At least show the regular citizens calling the police who then bring in the CID.
