i meant turning into a totally religious person......

Well, for me, what matters most is what kind of a person he is.  If he's compassionate, trustworthy, honest etc. etc. and fits into my category then why not?

Being religious is not a bad thing.  In fact, I think it's a good thing.  I am very religion in a sense that I believe in God firmly.  But I don't pray all the time or do all the mandatory religious activities.

So I wouldn't mind a religious person as long as he fits into the list of traits important to me.

I don't think I'd mind since being religious (not completely), but following the basic pillar of Islam and living according to the Sunnah isn't something I'd put against a guy. If he has those qualities in him, then great since it might also help me become a better Muslim in the long run.
