Soul Mate

Recap: Everyone went to a club, where both Angad and Kripa became jealous.

 

In the morning, Kripa did not go to Khanna's house because they were invited for breakfast at her house. Since it was Sunday no one had to go to work, they all had breakfast and were watching T.V. and chatting. Gayatri and Naina were making plans to call the Pundit to decide the day of the wedding while Surya and Dilip were making pals of a new business deal. While the parents were making there own planning downstairs, the kids were coming with their own plan upstairs.

 

"Socho na kuch" said Angad

"Hum soch hi rahe hain" said Kavya

After a few minutes of thinking Kavya exclaimed, "Soch liya"

"Kya?" everyone asked at the same time

"Angad do you have any problem if your wife works?" asked Kavya

"No…I would actually like that she is independent." Replied Angad

When Kripa heard his reply she looked up at him, she was impressed that Angad thought that way, even in this modern age some men are still conservative and would not like their wives to work Kripa was glad that Angad wasn't like those men.

"But now you will have a problem." said Kavya

"Huh…why?" Angad asked

"Because this problem will lead to a big fight and Kripa can call off the wedding." said

Kavya

"Well I guess we can try it" Angad said

All agreed with Angad

And to implement their plan Kripa went downstairs in Anger.

 

Downstairs

 

Seeing Kripa coming downstairs in anger, the parents stood up.

 

"Kya hua Kripa?" asked Gayatri

"Mummy dekho na Angad keh raha hai ki mein shaadi ke baad kam nahin kar sakti" Kripa said

"Angad come downstairs right now" yelled Naina

"Yes mom" said Angad as he came downstairs

"What is Kripa saying, how can you be so conservative"

"Mom, I don't want her to work"

"Par beta she wants to be independent, what is  wrong with that"

"Nothing is wrong with that Mom but I don't want her to work"

"Fine Angad, if you can't allow me to I won't marry you" said Kripa in anger

 

She was about to take out her ring but Gayatri stopped her.

 

"Kripa dekho itni jaldi faisla mat karo, I am sure both of you can come to an understanding." Said Gayatri

"What understanding he doesn't want me to work and I want to work" said Kripa

"Fine Kripa, even I am ready to end this relationship" Angad said

"Angad...Kripa stop…Angad when did you become so conservative tum hi humesha kehte thai na ki everyone should be independent to how can you be so conservative." Said Naina

"Mom…"

"No Angad, Kripa has the right to be independent…ok so you should not have any problem with her working ok?"

"Ok mom" said Angad
