When Kripa Kapoor's ex-husband Angad Khanna is shot during one of his concerts, Kripa is left realizing that she never stopped loving the man who cheated on her. When Angad receives a message a weeks after the accident, he knows that someone is behind his life. He has no choice but to call Kripa and tell her. After all she had managed his security until they had divorced. Kripa is forced to take Angad's case in her hands, at that moment she tells herself it's going to be strictly business. But when Angad and her face bullets and threats together one after another, she knows she could never just maintain a professional relationship with the only man she has ever loved. Nevertheless, she isn't ready to give her heart to him a second time knowing he is capable of breaking it. What Kripa doesn't know is that Angad never returned her heart. She simply assumed that the one beating inside her was hers.
