How about he is punished right now according to the laws and then the girl can punish him again when she is an adult?
Why wait? This act is horrible and being punished twice will be rightly deserved.

Can a daughter ever punish her father? Most daughters wouldn't spiecally if they are indian. (well lets say that they are conservative, follower or believer in God) ...other than that Indian daughters now days.............(better left silent)

Since he backed of his responsibility once, what proof do we have that he won't again? And, law should not be bent for cases like this... Aise to everyone has a reason to do a crime, no one will be punished then, you see.
