Here at present we see that Purab is Jassi's friend and then as her mom adviced friends can be good life partners, and taking that into consideration she said yes that she is ready to marry Purab.
Well did such a thought exist when she realised she loved only Armaan always.. Was Armaan able to become Jassi's friend.?

Well its a very double edged question.
Lets see if I can make sense, Purab and Jassi are good friends and hence on this basis they could make good life partners! Well during the times of her mother love always happened after marriage and so she advised Jassi that two good friends can marry and make a good marriage and love will follow in the wake of respect for each other!!

But but the question is that once when a girl loves, she loves for till the end, forever. Her first love can never be forgotten!!! If you see Jassi and Armaan were friends as he could confide in her his every dark secret. He always thought of her whether in need or whether to share his happiness too. Somehow she always surfaced in his mind first and foremost.
For Jassi too, till the present track, Armaan came and shall always come first! Whether it is knowingly or unknowingly. Even today, when she was quietly announcing her decision to marry Purab, Armaan was the first to know! Unintentionally, but he knows it! And then even when purab and Jassi are together having this so called supposedly romantic dinner, he does pop up in Jassi's head, but only the names are not mentioned.

so after all this I could say yes somewhere Jassi and Armaan share that special love-hate relationship which maybe only two lovers could share. And who ever said lovers could not be friends! Am I making sense?!?!?! 😆

Shanti, I hoped I didn't bore you with this lamba chauda stupid sa analysis!!! 😕 😕 😕

Well did such a thought exist when she realised she loved only Armaan always.. Was Armaan able to become Jassi's friend.?

Purab is undoubtedly Jassi's friend and so is Nandu. But right now at this point, Armaan cannot be termed as a friend to Jassi. They never had a friendship track so far. In friendship, two people are equals and with Purab and with Nandu, Jassi takes a special liberty while she shares her thoughts and emotions and even in the way she behaves with them. 😊

With Armaan, it was the relationship of a Boss-Employee first, then of mutual trust and then that of  love and romance. Armaan considered Jassi to be the one to look at for support but Jassi never depended on Armaan for support regarding her personal problems and worries. She rather called up Purab or Nandu to speak her heart out. 😛

Jassi surely was the problem-solver for Armaan. Armaan needed Jassi badly, maybe because he wanted somebody with him whom he can trust and keep as his own. Armaan never realised that he was falling in love with her or he was getting possessive about her. 😃

One more reason, why i don't feel Armaan is Jassi's friend at this point, is because if he was a friend to her, he would be happy for making her the CEO and at her success as CEO. Purab and Nandu are happy at Jassi's success because they are her friends and want her to move up in her career too. 😊

Armaan sees Jassi as somebody subordinate to him, somebody who should obey him and not as an equal and friendship is all about equality between two individuals. If he had considered Jassi as an equal, then he would've been happy to make her the CEO of Gulmohur and would've been happy with her success.😊

Armaan is rather jealous, because he cannot bear her overtaking him as the CEO. In friendship, there won't be jealousy, but when two people are in love, there could be some elements of jealousy. Armaan cannot bear it that Jassi is becoming an equal to him. If it was friendship between them, Armaan wouldn't be jealous, but would be rather happy. 😳

Armaan is the kind of man, who want a lady in his life, who obeys him and remains subordinate to him be it official or in personal terms. Just like in our Indian culture, a wife is in subordination to a certain respect to her husband and husband has a certain command over her, similar to that Armaan too wanted a lifepartner who would not turn back and question him or doubt him, but rather support him obediently at every point and help in progress in his life and career. 😳

Armaan finds these qualities in Jassi and so at some points want her to remain subordinate to him and with him forever. One reason for Armaan's not wanting Jassi to fall in love with Purab could be this that, Jassi is the only girl in his life, who obeyed him blindly and without questioning him or spying on him. 😳

Mallika was always dominating and he didn't like dominating women. Whenever Armaan flirted with any other woman including Mallika, they would always behave in the same coin to him by flirting back with him. Even if Armaan remains quiet and not in a mood to romance or flirt, Mallika would surely behave romantically with him the moment she sees him and Armaan didn't like that within. 🤢

Jassi never flirted with Armaan but rather blushed at him each time and looked at him with love-filled eyes when, he flirted with her. In that respect, Armaan felt that he was dominating her and he felt that he was winning in his art of romancing. 😉

For Jassi, it was as if she was the wife and Armaan sir was her husband, even when he was romancing her in Gulmohur. She always behaved like a wife would behave when her husband romanced her, blushing at him and looking at him with dreamy eyes. 😳

Armaan never behaved with her as with a friend. He has so far been a boss, a flirt and a lover with her, but not a friend.😛

But bhrahami ....

They were times Armaan was genuinely happy for Jassi.Of course Armaan liked to show his authority over jassi...But Lets say even Billo papa shows his love in a pretty dominating way.
And somehwere Jassi was attracted to this dominating nature...Cause she understood how such men are!
They were times they had this chit-chat about life and its problems..And If you could just remove the 'sir' tag you see could two very different people wanting to know each other!!
They defintely were not 'Friends' in the true sense but they had a steady relatioship which something more than just an employee-boss. 😛

Btw I  think that 'special' relatioship is what was Missing in Mallika and Armaan. They bickered a Lot and Mallika's dominating nature and Constant interference and her 100 questions made Armaan want to run away...He wanted someone who will keep him at peace not who he needs to keep peace with all the time.

And plus of course the fact that To please Mallika Armaan had to a 100 Things while jassi  enver expected such things.Infact she cherished even his smallest gestures.😳

Hey Sharmi,

that is what i tried to explain there. Armaan feels genuinely happy for Jassi and that is because he liked her and inwardly without his own knowledge was in love with her. Armaan's care for Jassi doesn't mean, he considers her as an equal or a friend. He is infact possessive about her. We don't usually get possessive about our friends. We would be happy if our friends are getting married, but when Armaan hears first about Jassi's marriage to Purab, his first reaction is frustration and jealousy and his face was worth watching again and again. Haailaa poora rang utar gaya!😳😆

So it his clear that his feelings towards her is something beyond friendship. It is the feeling of passion and love, which Armaan doesn't want to accept, because he somewhere he feels that he behaved in a romantic way with Jassi for Gulmohur. He initially started the romancing for Gulmohur, but later on, he started enjoying it and inwardly fell in love with Jassi. Poor Armaan, doesn't know what is going on in his heart.😳 But his jealousy on knowing about Purab's marriage to Jassi is making his heart frustrated for sure.😆

We don't get jealous when our friends are successful but Armaan gets jealous when Jassi became CEO. Behaving in a friendly manner with a person and friendship is totally different. Purab and Nandu are true friends because they are happy in her success in career. If Armaan was a true friend, he wouldn't be joining with Mallika to somehow get Jassi out of the CEO post. Armaan want Jassi to be back to the position where she was. He doesn't want her to be ordering him around, but obeying him. 😳

That is why, i feel Jassi was made for Armaan. Jassi is a kind of girl, who is suited to be Armaan's wife. Armaan never wanted to have equals or those dominating him. He wanted somebody obeying him and supporting him. Jassi was the one who did it all the time. 😳

Yes, as the serial progresses, Armaan does change. His love towards Jassi changes him and he does later on becomes a friend to her and he becomes more selfless and giving. But that is after Armaan understands Jassi better perhaps after the scenes in Raj's Apartment, which would be coming up. But right at this moment, Armaan is not considering Jassi as a friend, though he trusts her and has consideration for her as a boss and perhaps as a lover. But right now, he is still possessive and jealous and these qualities won't be there in a friendship. 😛

Let's wait for the point at which Armaan becomes the sweet friend who listens to her and tries to understand her problems and pains. Because that is when he actually starts truly caring for her and that is when he start feeling guilty for his actions and starts loving her even more. Till that part, Armaan is a boss, a lover, but not yet a friend.😳

I think Arman was a lover first than a friend. If Jassi had seen him as a friend they wouldnt have fallen in love with each other. Both didnt see each other in that way at all, while Arman first saw her as a mere employee and later on as his confidante. Jassi, the day she saw him , it was boss the first day and the minute he lifted her chin with his one finger, it was love.

Also the passion would have been missing had they been friends. yes, Arman did support Jassi in many ways and later on too when Purab leaves him. But if u remember the raj's apartment scene, the first thing he says is that they have known each other as colleagues but as a friend, he never knew anything abt her.

Sometimes in life , ur heart just beats on seeing someone and they arent friends but something more than that and thats what happened with Jassi. On Arman's side, he saw her as an employee then as a toy that he could use for his selfish reasons yet the one he trusted and possessed and then boom he realised he was in love with her.

so from both sides, they didnt see each other as friend. It was love written all over.

I agree with tina, sometimes your heart answers all those unanswered and strange questions which your mind cannot answer! It pulls your heartstrings, as even if you don't know, when you are in love! 😳
