LOLLOLLOLqt...merey dil ki baat keh dee tum neyLOLLOL...but do you really need all that money for honeymoonWink

Why do you need money for honeymoon? You can make that be anywhere you want LOL LOL LOL Step into the back yard, or the dhabba across the street, and there are your wonders of the world LOL Wink

Talking about marriages, aren't honeymoon's becoming society norms to see who can outdo each other in going to the best, or most expensive of places? I personally think that spending much on honeymoon is unneeded. Unless you just need a reason to go vacationing, or have a place in mind that you really want to see.

That's what I meant- honeymooning the rest of the life time LOLLOLLOL

GAURI - LOL.. @ do you need so much money?  I say why not? World is a marvellous place..  Visit every wonder of it and treat every visit as a honeymoon ..
( disclaimer- the views expressed are of a hopeless romantic.  pls do not follow such investment advice LOL)

Jokes apart,  I am very truly against splurging money on a one-day , two-day affair, unless it doesn't make a dent.  Bachchans and Khans and Birlas and Gandhis can spend what they like.  Middle class going overboard is unacceptable to me Embarrassed.  Wedding cannot be put above long term financial statbility, since the latter is an essential component of a happy marriage.

marriage expenses shared by two families is ideal and thats the best way to divide the burden of the marriage cost. however, throwing a luxurious party or having a simple close family friends party is personal choice. westerners usually share the marriage cost and that is remarkable since it doesnt puts the stress on only one family. some people just sign marriage papers and then go out for a lunch with closed ones Tongue. i have seen such people. it all has to do with how much marriage means to them and how much they want to publicize their marriage. having a simple wedding doesnt mean that they are not happy and neither throwing a pompous party weighs the happiness of the married couple. its just their choice to choose how they want it to beTongue
