We all love listening to beautifully composed music with meaningful (and sometimes non-meaningful) lyrics.

BUT, in those songs, we all like a particular line like some of the above...

or like

or recently released song

hehe.. I loveee lyrics. LOL :p

Okay.. so one of my fave lines from hindi songs would be... "bin tere kaisi aas woh jeet ho ya haar tere sang hai sab kuchh tu na ho toh bekaar." - from BIN TERE.

And for english music.. I have soo many fave LINES.. but umm .. I like this one (it doesn't necessarily mean the most to me Tongue

well there are so many but at the moment my fav lyrics are

"To phir aao mujh ko sataao....
      aa bhi jaa oh aa bhi jaa" from the movie awarapan

                  and

" mein jahan rahoon mein kahin bhi hoon...
             teri yaad saat hai" from the movie Namastey london

Ahh what a nice topic!!

For me a song is nothing if the lyrics aren't great!

So my favorite songs are those songs with those touching and rocking lyrics/lines!

Some of the fav lines of my fav. songs:

1. Kal ho naa ho- Har gadi badal rahi hai dhoop zindagi... Har pal yahaan ji bhar jeeo, yeh jo samaa kal ho naa ho

2. Metro-- Hai tujhe bhi ijazat, karle tu bhi mohabbat

3. Kaho naa pyaar hai-- Kyun chalti hai pawan... kyun machalta hai dil.. naa tum jaano naa hum

4. Tum Bin-- KOi faryaad tere dil mein...Jaagte jaagte ek umar katti ho jaise...

and many more!

Great topic. I love all the lines of a song, not just a line of my favorite songs, but here's 2 of them, that I just adore. Embarrassed

Hindi Line-

Well there are plenty of songs with soulful/beautiful lyrics.
Few I can list now are :

-"Mera kuch saaman tumhare paas para hai" from Ijaazat.

-"Tujhse naaraz nahi yeh zindagi" from Masoom

-"Kahi door jab din dhal jaye" from Anand

-" In ankhonki masti ke diwane hazaro" from Umrao Jaan

-"Rhimjhim gire sawwan sulag-2 jaye maan"from Manzil

oh the list can go on and on

from English songs:

-Raindrops keep falling on my head

-I just cant help falling in love with you

-I want to spend my lifetime loving you

-you are the one

and many more....
