Abhi apologizes to Neha for being brusque with her. Neha is upset and lying in bed. He tells her that he should have told her that he and Simran were talking about Manas. That Simran felt that Manas is distancing himself from Urmila. In any case Simran did not tell him much. Neha too apologizes for not trusting him.
Simran is driving back and thinking about what Manas told her. She stops the car. She wonders how Manas could even think such disgusting thoughts. She is weeping. Her cell phone rings and it is her Abhi. He asks her why she took so long to pick up the phone and whether she was right about Manas. She says yes. He then asks her why is she sounding upset and why is she crying. She suddenly starts howling. Abhi comes back to Neha and tells her that Simran was upset and crying over the phone.
Manas is roaming in his house like a very troubled person in the middle of the night. He sits down on the sofa and is in deep thoughts.
Next morning, Mr. Mathur comes to have tea and finds Simran there. He asks her what is wrong. She says she did not sleep well. He tells her he knows what she is hiding from him. He asks her whether she went to Abhi's house last evening. She says no and walks away. He thinks to himself, that he cannot be wrong in his deductions. He is her father and knows her well.
Neha calls Abhi for b'fast but he says he is not hungry. She asks him not to get tense but to find a solution to the Simran and Manas problem. He alone can do it. He should talk to both of them and remove their misunderstanding.
Abhi calls up Simran's house and Mr. Mathur picks up the phone. He asks to talk to Simran and Mr. Mathur asks him whether it is to ask whether Simran is upset. Mr. Mathur is again very dry and asks him till when does he intend to continue troubling his daughter. Simran is listening. Simran tells him it has nothing to do with Abhi. She tells Abhi she will call him later.
Neha advises Abhi to talk to Manas before talking to Simran to get a feel of the whole problem. He is hesitant but finally agrees.
Mr. Mathur calls up Manas and asks him whether he and Simran had a tiff. Manas replies in the negative and before they can talk more, Abhi rings the door bell and Manas calls him in. Abhi tells him that though he does not like to interfere in personal matters but he could not stop himself since Simran is very upset and is a very good friend of Manas. Manas asks him what he wants of him. Abhi tells Manas not to spoil their relationship. Manas tells him that it is good that Abhi realizes that it is not good to interfere in other people's relationships and that he and Simran are adults and can solve their problems on their own. Abhi need not bother himself.
