Alak wipes her tears and asks Daima how can she tell Amaji the tuth. Abhimaniyu is watching. Daima tells Alak to tell the turht. Alak says but... Daima says nothing will happen to Amaji and Shagun. She also says the lie will hurt Shaugn more and also says that there is no other way out. Alak says that she has another way but before she can tell Daima her idea, Daima shushes her adn says it is a good idea. Abhimaniyu is listening.
Shaugn tells Sumir to drop her off at Alak's house. Sumir says OK.
Shaugn asks Alak as to where she went with Abhimaniyu. Alak says to Daima's house. Outside Sumir says to Abhimaniyu that he say him and Alak walking on the road but didn't tell Shaugn. Sumir asks Abhimaniyu as to where he went with Alak. Abhimaniyu gets worried and says to Daima's house. Shaugn asks Alak if Daima accepted the present. Alak says Daima doesn't accept presents. Sumir asks Abhimaniyu the same question adn Abhimaniyu says yes. Sumir asks Abhimaniyu as what was in the persent. Abhimaniyu says mangoes. Sumir gets confused adn Abhimaniyu says how could he know what was in the present adn Sumir says good joke. Alak tells Shagun taht she had gone to ask Daima some questions adn hugs Shaugn. Shaugn says it's late and she should be going by now.
Sumir asks Abhimaniyu about hiis documentry. Abhimaniyu says he is making a movie but needs someone to produce it. Sumir asks him about the story. Abhimaniyu says it is based on a book called Chandrakanta and both him and Sumir get into a talk about it where we find out that it is Sumirs fav. book. Shaugn comes adn says that they have started talking about Chandrakanta again. Sumir says to Abhimaniyu that he will produce the film. Abhimaniyu gets happy and shows Sumir his plans adn both get busy in that. Shaugn gets tired of waiting and goes back to Alak. Alak sees Shaugn adn asks her if she and Sumir had a fight. Shaugn says it was nothing like that adn tells her that Abhimaniyu and Sumir were talking about the book Chandrakanta. Sumir and Abhimaniyu come adn Sumir tells Shagun to lets go.

Sumir tells Abhimaniyu adn Shagun that he will go and get teh car adn leaves. Shaugn tells Abhimaniyu to take care of Alak. As they are walking to the door Abhimaniyu to himself thinks if Shagun knows the truth and if he should tell her so she could help him. Shaugn is also thinking that Abhimaniyu is in deep tought and if he knows the truth and if she should ask him. But then backs up saying that if Alak didn't tell he daughter then why would she tell Abhimaniyu. Just then Amaji and Shantanu come looking all worried. Shantanu ask Abhimaniyu adn Shaugn about Alak. Shaugn says that she is in her room adn Amaji adn Shantanu are relieved. Amaji asks as to where Alak was that afternoon adn both Shagun and Abhimaniyu give different answers. Abhimaniyu atlast says that he was with Alak adn she had gone to give Daima a present which Daima didn't accept adn then asked her some questions. A horn rings adn Shaugn says that it must be Sumir, says bye to everyone and leaves.

While in the car, Shaugn keeps on thinking if Abhimaniyu knows when Sumir jokes around with Shagun. Shaugn goes to sleep when wakes up and screams to turn around to go back to Alak bcz she feels something is not right. Sumir tries to reason out Shagun. Sumir and Shaugn reach the Bhardwaj house adn Sumir tells Shaugn to go and see if everything is alright.
Inside Shantanu asks Alak if everything is alrite bcz her stomach is not comming out. Alak goes from there. Shantanu asks Alak as to why does she feel akward when anyone talks about the child and asks if the child is fine. Shagun comes and listens to them talk. Alak breaks down to Shantanu. Shagun sees Amaji coming and hides. Alak asks Shantanu for forgiveness and tells him that she couldn't save the child. Amaji who is standing right by the bedroom door hears it all adn looks like she was gonna have a heart attack. Shagun adn Shantanu see Amaji adn rush to hold Amaji. Episode ends on Alak's face.
