Aamna and Rajeev-a true love story

It was a very bright morning that day and Aamna was getting ready, as it was her first day at work. She was going to start a new project and it was her first major project.
She was offered to act in a new soap called 'Kahin to hoga' and she was playing the lead role of a girl named Kashish. Aamna was very nervous and was sitting on her bed and shaking, when her mum walked into the room and said,
"Aamna, you're getting late, come and have some breakfast."
"Yes mum, I'm coming" she said in a low tone
"What's the matter? Why do you sound so low?"
"Mum I'm really nervous, it's my first day at work today and I have a very prestigious role to play. I'm playing the lead character, what if I make a mistake?"
"Aamna sweetheart why are you getting so worried, don't worry, just give it 100%, and you will be fine. You've always loved to act and now when you got a chance, you're getting nervous and then you've done modelling and some ad films before"
"Mum, this is something bigger than modelling and ad films, I will be on TV four days a week. Well thanks for all your support; I will definitely do my best".
"Now that's like my daughter," she said with a smile. "Let's go down for breakfast"
They went downstairs to have breakfast. Aamna was still very nervous. She had butterflies in her stomach and hardly ate anything.

Aamna reached the sets and all of a sudden a car parked right behind hers and a man dressed in black got out of the car. Yes, it was Rajeev, who was going to play Sujal's character. Aamna looked at him and continued staring for a few moments; she felt an attraction towards him and could not look away. She was lost into thoughts when he walked up to her and said,
"Why are you staring at me, any problem?" said Rajeev.
Aamna realised what she was doing and said,
"No, there's no problem". She said sincerely. After hearing this Rajeev went inside, Aamna just thought to her self, this guy is full of attitude, and she walked in after a few minutes.

Inside the sets, the producer introduced them all and finally she introduced Aamna and Rajeev. Both of them shook hands and the time just stood still, the moment froze and they looked at each other. They immediately let go and then Ekta the producer said, "Let's begin the shooting"
Both Rajeev and Aamna started the shooting. Rajeev was very fussy and complained a lot whilst doing scenes and wanted things to be done differently. Aamna was getting very irritated with his behaviour. Aamna and Rajeev did not get along, every time Rajeev discussed the scenes with Aamna he would call her kashish and not Aamna and this used to irritate Aamna a lot.

This tensed relationship and atmosphere continued for the next six months between Aamna and Rajeev until the beautiful month of July approached their lives and an unexpected turning point came in there lives. It was the 16 th of July when Aamna invited all the cast and crew to her birthday party, which was two days later. She invited everyone and only Rajeev was left. She decided to invite Rajeev as well because even though they did not get along, she felt that it wouldn't be nice if she invited everyone else and not him. She walked towards Rajeev when the shooting had finished and called him.
"Rajeev, I wanted to invite you to my birthday party which is the day after tomorrow. I would like it if you will come" saying this she walked off and Rajeev just looked at her with a shocked expression.

It was the 16th July and it was Aamna's birthday. She woke up in the morning and saw a card saying 'Happy Birthday to My Lovely Daughter' this brought a smile on her face, she got out of bed and got ready. Her mum came into her room.
"Thank you so much mum, I love the card." She said
"Your welcome sweetheart here's your gift." she opened the box and saw a beautiful diamond pendant. Aamna is very fond of diamonds and her mum knew that this would be a perfect gift for her. She hugged her mum and said that she has thrown a party to celebrate her birthday so she will be back a little late. She said goodbye to her mum and left.

Aamna reached the venue and every one else came in after a while. She was very happy and they were all enjoying themselves. It was nearly the end of the party and her eyes were searching for Rajeev who had not come yet. Her eyes were fixed at the entrance since the party started. She wasn't sure why she was looking out for him. The party had finished and everybody had left. She was very angry. She picked up her mobile and dialled Rajeev's number.
"Hello, who's this" he said in an enquiring tone
"Who do you think, its Aamna, oh sorry you don't know any Aamna do you, its kashish for you isn't it" she said very sarcastically.
"By the way do you remember that I invited you to my party today, even though you don't even talk to me properly or call me by my real name which irritates me, I still invited you to my party and you, and you didn't even have the decency to come? I haven't seen anyone full of attitude before. Goodbye!"
Aamna was steaming with anger.
On the other hand Rajeev was feeling guilty and was thinking, what has she ever said to me, why am I always being indifferent to her? I should have at least informed her that I am not able to come. Rajeev left his house.

Aamna went home and walked straight into her room, as she was very tired her mum came into her room and said.
"What's wrong Aamna, you seem very tired. How was the party?" When Aamna's mum mentioned the party, she remembered what Rajeev had done. A teardrop had fallen from her eyes and she could not control herself, she started to cry.
"Mom I don't know why he behaves like that with me, he doesn't even call me by my own name, he calls me Kashish, which really irritates me but still, even though we don't get along, I invited him to my birthday party and guess what, he did not come."
Aamna's mother says to her
"Maybe there was some problem otherwise I am sure he would have come, did you even ask him the reason?"
She recalled the time when she called him and remembered that she didn't even give him chance to speak. The doorbell rang and her mum went to open the door. Aamna was just thinking that maybe there was a problem. She was lost into her thoughts when suddenly she heard a knock on her bedroom door, she said
"Mum why are you knocking, you don't need to knock to come into my room," she said
"But I need permission to enter don't I?" it was Rajeev. Aamna was shocked to see him here, this was the first time he came to her house. He went up to her and said,
"I'm really sorry I didn't come to your party kash…Aamna," he said
She was shocked, he called her Aamna for the first time and so she couldn't help but smile. She said
"It's ok Rajeev," she said
"No it isn't, I should have at least phoned you to tell you why I couldn't come. Aamna there was a person lying on the floor who had been hit by a car and I took him to hospital."
She felt really bad for shouting at him without knowing the real reason behind it.
"I'm really sorry Rajeev, I shouted at you without knowing what really happened."
"No Aamna, please don't say that I don't blame you. I have been behaving very badly with you even though you weren't at fault, and you were bound to think like that after all that happened in the last six months". Rajeev told Aamna why he has behaving like this for the last six months. The reason was because of his career he left home 8 years ago and was living on his own for 8 years. He moved into Mumbai and since then was just focusing on work and never had the time to socialise and he became very independent. Hearing all this Aamna understood why he used to behave the way he did and it was because he was so used to staying on his own. She held out her hand and said,
"Will you be my friend Rajeev" he just smiled and shook her hand and said
"Of course, it'll be my pleasure". They just looked at each other, and for the first time ever they made eye contact. They smiled at each other and then Rajeev got out a package and said,
"This is a little gift for you, I hope you like it."
She opened the package and saw a beautiful black dress with light silver embroidery on it. She just smiled and said,
"Thank you so much, it's beautiful"

Since that day both of them had started to enjoy each other's company and they became really good friends. They both realised that they had a lot in common and a lot of the things they liked were each other's favourite. Aamna realised after a few months that she made a mistake in understanding Rajeev and now she was very happy that he was her friend. Aamna and Rajeev didn't even realise that their friendship was turning into love. He used to pay regular trips to her house and became very friendly with her mum. They now started to spend a lot of time together, whether it was going to see a movie or shopping for each other. They managed to convince the audience by their characters and people started loving their couple and could not imagine seeing Aamna minus Rajeev or vice-versa. They won three awards for favourite couple in two years and they became so popular that Sujal and Kashish were two names that were mentioned in every household. They were always asked by the media whether you are a real life couple or not but they always denied it and said that we are just friends, they did not even realise themselves what they meant for each other until Rajeev left the soap. He was asked to leave the soap by the producer because he used to interfere in the script as he felt that his character was going down hill and the soap was becoming illogical. When Aamna heard this she was shocked, she didn't know how to react, she just felt a feeling of loss in her heart. Rajeev approached her and said,
"Aamna I will be leaving kahin to hoga in two weeks time, Ekta has asked me to leave and she has found another replacement" 

Aamna could not stop herself and tears were just flowing down her soft cheeks, he could not bear to see her cry and without thinking of what he was doing he quickly embraced her. She grabbed hold of him so tightly like she had never hugged him before and Rajeev tightened his grip. She was crying even more now because she had a fear of losing him, he could not see her cry and he let go of her. She looked up and they just stood there looking at each other. Finally a few minutes passed and Rajeev spoke
"Aamna please stop crying. You know it really hurts me when you cry."
"How can I stop crying Rajeev, I don't know how I will be able to stay if you won't be here, how can I accept someone else as Sujal when you know I can only accept you as Sujal. I can't do it Rajeev, I can't," she said
"Control yourself Aamna, you have to stay here, me leaving the soap does not mean that we are never going to see each other again or keep in contact, because to tell you the truth, I certainly can't live without talking to you everyday. You are too special for me" She just looked at him and said
"Rajeev, even I can't think of living without talking to you everyday, our friendship has brought us so close that it's hard to let go."
"Aamna I'm really sorry that I have to leave you but I can't work like this anymore, you know how passionate I was about my character don't you and now they are just totally spoiling the character of Sujal. I can't relate with the character anymore."
"I'm going to miss you Rajeev," she said whilst crying, she just could not control herself and then he embraced her again.

A few months had passed and they used to meet as much as they could and talked on the phone everyday even if meeting each other everyday was not possible. They both realised after Rajeev left the soap that they could not live without each other, there characters had brought them so close that they could not help it but fall in love with each other. It was the 14th February and Rajeev called Aamna and asked her to join him for dinner in the evening. She agreed and Rajeev said he would pick her up in the evening. Aamna was getting ready and was really happy; she wore the dress that Rajeev bought for her and some silver jewellery. She heard the doorbell and ran to open the door, Rajeev was standing outside with some roses for her, and she took the roses from him and thanked him whilst Rajeev just froze when he saw her. He said
"Aamna you're looking very beautiful, how will I be able to keep my eyes on the road today" Aamna looked away very shyly and said,
"Thanks, but even your looking very handsome in this black suit." He was still staring at her when she finally said,
"Rajeev, shall we leave, we'll get late." he stopped staring and they both sat in the car and he drove off.


They reached the restaurant and she realised that the restaurant was empty, she asked him why it was so quiet here and he said he booked the restaurant so there was no one to disturb them as he had something important to tell her. They ordered the food, and both of them ate the food and talked about there past moments together. Then all of a sudden a song came on; this song was very special for both of them because there were many memories attached to it whilst they were playing the character of Sujal and Kashish. He asked her for a dance and both of them danced to the song, they were completely lost into each other and all they could see were memories flashing everywhere. The song had finished but both continued dancing, as they were not aware that the music had stopped but they did not. After a few minutes they realised that the music had stopped and so they went and sat back down. She asked him what he wanted to say to her. He stood up and walked towards her, as he took each step towards Aamna, her heart skipped a beat. He bent down on his knees and said,
"Aamna since the day we became friends, my life changed completely and from
That day you have become a part of my life. I realised that after leaving Kahin to Hoga I can't be your friend anymore." Aamna was shocked on hearing this; she didn't know how to react.
"Rajeev what are you trying to say?" Rajeev looked at her seriously and said,
"We can't be friends because I love you.
Aamna I don't know why but I feel that you also love me and that is why I told you about my feelings. Is it possible that I am the lucky person who can spend the rest of his life with you? My life is incomplete without you; will you fill my life with your love?" she was shocked and happy at the same time, she did not know how to react, before she could say anything, Rajeev took a diamond ring out of his pocket and said,
"Aamna, will you marry me".
He waited for her to say something but she was speechless, finally she held herself together and put her hand forward. He quickly slipped the ring on to her finger; she looked at the ring and said,
"Rajeev even I love you, I don't know since when but maybe since we became friends but I only realised this at the time you were going to leave the soap, It felt as though my life would fall apart without you, but now it seems like I have got everything I ever wanted." He was so happy on hearing this and he got up and hugged her so tightly that it seemed like even wild horse could not pull them apart.

They decided to get married on the 7th of October because that was the same day that Sujal and Kashish got married. They were very happy and they both got everything they wanted and the best thing was that their friendship would hold their love together. They got married and a new life opened its arms widely and welcomed them and from that day onwards, only happiness had space in their lives.

oh has this really happened in their life....thats really cool ya....their story is sooo cool that a tv serial can be started on them.
thanks,but once again i wanted to ask u is this really their true love story.i know that they are not married but did rajeev propose aamna or its just ur imagination on them.

i thought this was real because, what u have written about them in the start is true............anyways,it was really great....i could actually imagine them together.....i loved the hugging scenes especially.
