Televisionpoint.com Correspondent It's that time of the year again when the sun's shining bright and summer's set in, It's that time when you not only spend time with your family but when you felicitate them for their hard work throughout all of last year. And what better way to do that than with Star Plus' very own award ceremony of the year, The Colgate Star Parivaar Awards. It is undoubtedly the best way to acknowledge and appreciate the brilliance and commitment of each and every member of the Star Parivaar. Beginning April 27th, Star Plus brings you The much awaited telly awards celebrating 5yrs of its existence in a totally unique manner with the theme of a Musical Broadway. Colgate Star Parivaar Awards will be awarding those members of its family that have won the audiences hearts over the past 5 years. The awards have been divided into the Hall of fame categories and popular categories. The hall of fame categories will comprise of all those faces that have been a part of the channel in the past. And what's more the viewers like always will get a chance to choose their best and favorite 'sadasyas' characters who are nominated from amongst the 23 different categories. Prominently known for its uniqueness, the concept of the award is to acknowledge not just the actor, but more so The character. This award thus measures the popularity, the actor brings to the character. The awards for this year will be divided into 23 different categories, tThe Colgate Star Parivaar Awards is all set to felicitate the ones you choose, so go ahead and select your favourite characters be it buzurg, chhota bachcha, naya sadasya, maa-pita, beti-beta, bhai-behen, bhabhi-devar, devrani-jethani, pati-patni, saas-bahu, saut… and many more. So gear up for the celebrations and festivities that surround this mega event with the Nomination Special on April 27, followed by The Hum Kissi Se Kam Nahin on May 11, Red Carpet on May 19 and The Main Event on May 20 and brace yourselves to get blown away by one magical evening. |
