Meri to shaadi bhi nahin hoi aur main abhi se  rahi hoon. I have seen enough of my cousins get married and I have learned that I'm not getting married for a lonnnnngggg time. Things do change.

I got a "preview" a few months ago. My fiance lives in another state and he came to visit. He stayed at my house and I was appalled with how messy he left my bathroom! I started to argue with him and then it hit me like a ton of bricks that THIS is what I'll have to put up with for the rest of my life.

Be open to 180 change for good ..lols not scary - but as far I have seen friends and family marraige apart from tins of happiness = change or sacrifices, compromises, adjustments and as DB mentioned setting the priorities. 

The higlighted portion, wow thats a real live example that I pointed out month back in marraige on probation basis post.

The most interesting thing is we get more ideas from people who are not married even once !!

Persy, I just read this thread. On the first page you wanted to take the plunge soon. Then Soumya kinda hinted it was too soon and now these people have scared the heck outta you
But I agree, they have presented a very scary picture. I guess we are better off staying away for as long as possible

Yeah, nothing wrong in changing opinion after hearing these horror stories, is there? ... when I first made the comment, it was from ideal, fairy-tale perspective; the reality is
