| A story about a group of 5 young friends, LMKK is directed by Vikram Bhatt who just came up with a noir thriller RED. With LMKK, he changes tracks to get into the minds of youngsters and try to find out what their dreams, desires, aspirations, beliefs and goals in life are.
Five friends out here are Manish (Aftab Shidasani), Rajeev (Dino Morea), Jai (Sameer Dattani), Monica (Nauheed Cyrusi) and Ishita (Anjori). Let's meet each of them. Manish (Aftab Shidasani) - He is a simpleton. Respecting life and enjoying the goodies that come along with it, he hasn't been able to achieve what he always wanted. The best achievement he had so far? Marry the girl he loved most! He may be poor but has a heart of gold. Rajeev (Dino Morea) - He was the opposite of Manish, at least financially. For him, happiness meant to be successful anything and everything that he did. And that's the reason he wanted to carve a niche for himself because all this while, he had his brother for support and guidance. And now he wanted to move on! Jai (Sameer Dattani) - A middle class boy, he is trying to come out of the untimely death of his father and a disillusioned mother. And now all he wants his power! Monica (Nauheed Cyrusi) - A girl who has always desired to be an actress, she uses her looks and talent to reach their as well. But now what she wants is fame....and a lot of it. 
Ishita (Anjori) - Ishita ka sapna...money money! Smar, pretty, focused, clear headed, she realizes at an early age that it is money that drives the world. It's that time of their life when all 5 friends graduate from college. Amidst all the celebrations, they start getting into a discussion about what life means to them and how they plan to lay it out for them on their own. And then there is a bet! A bet that revolved around the happiness in their lives. A bet that would define the course of their lives...or change it! Each of them claims that they would be the happiest of all when they meet after five years. And it is Manish would decide who was the happiest of them all! |
