phir aankhen palakon mein chhup kar rone lagatii hain

jaane tab kyon suuraj kii Khvaahish karate hain log
jab baarish mein sab diivaaren girane lagatii hain

tasviiron kaa rog bhii aaKhir kaisaa hotaa hai
tanhaaii mein baat karo to bolane lagatii hain

saahil se Takaraane vaalii vahashii maujen bhii
zindaa rahane kii Khvaahish me.n marane lagatii hain

tum kyaa jaano lafzon ke aazaar kii shiddat ko
yaadein tak sochon kii aag mein jalane lagatii hai
