episode 21

Boston Boy is shown locked in his room sobbing & pining away for D Girl! His Pop Pops in and asks him why is he shedding away tears. BB says that he spoke to Disha & she has refused to marry him (4 the nth time, btw!). Pop calls up D Girl and asks her why is she breaking his son's heart like this and she cannot randomly take decisions on BB's behalf also! D Girl tells Pop that she is sorry 4 being so rude to him but that she has decided that she won't marry BB! Pop is taken aback and decides to speak to D Girl's Pop.

Meanwhile D Girl recollects some past episodes of her life when she was a little kid and had seen her family album wherein she had been missing from all the family photographs. She had also questioned about a cute little boy who was in every photograph, but her grandfather had avoided answering that. D Girl tries to locate the album in the house but is unable to do so.

In the next scene, Shikha Roy and Vijay are shown in a meeting where Vijay takes the loan of 50 crores from her Company (which is actually DK's Company) and gives his house papers as collateral to her.

D Girl is then shown going to the market along with her maid to by some 'Sabzi Tarkari' (Sweet homely girls r required 2 do that, I suppose!). She is totally lost when crossing the road and a sleek Black Merc hits her from behinde. She turns back to apologise to the driver that it was her mistake that she came in front...when DK comes out of the rear seat looking really HOT!!! (Okee....Anti DKites mite not subscribe to this view, but DK really looked hot in yesterday's episode...he looked very different actually, dressed in a casual Suit!) He sneers at D Girl who looks absolutely mortified at bumping into him. He then says that maybe it is pre-ordained that D Girl and DK should meet as they keep bumping into each other in the most unlikely of places. She tells him to go and fly a kite! He tells her that his offer is still open to her and that she should think about it. D Girl says that she is a 'Maratha' & that they never change their decisions! DK then looks at her with hatred and tells her that not only will she come bk to him but actually come bk begging and pleading!

At the Bhonsale residence, Azu Ba is telling Vijay that it is time that they should tells the truth to D Girl about her background. Vijay says that he does not want to talk about that and that D Girl is now his daughter and that is the only truth for him. When Vijay walks out of the room after refusing his father to tell Disha the truth that she is their servant's daughter, he sees Disha standing and crying (She will use up a year's supply of glycerin this way!)....she had heard the entire conversation!

episode 22

Disha hears her father and grandpa arguing with each other over Disha's past, when she snoops on to their conversation. Papa dearest catches his daughter listening to him and decides to finally, finally tell her the truth. He tells Disha that the truth will be best if her Mother tells her. Suhas comes in and takes Disha to her room where she puts a video tape in which a Birthday Party is being celeberated. The Party is for Vijay and Suhas's elder child, Raja's 5th Birthday. Disha and Ranu were too young to remember anything. But they are both in the Video.

Disha's father was their servant who used to take care of Raja. During the party, Suhas hands over the child to Disha's father (the original one) and tells him to keep an eye on the child. The father is not much of a character, he lets the child go and smokes a Bidi with the watchman. Just then a truck comes and hits the child. Raja dies on the spot. When Suhas and Vijay come to the scene of the accident, Disha's father has already vanished. Out of a sense of responsibility, Vijay and Suhas decided to adopt and raise Disha as their own daughter.

Suhas says that though she has always kept a grudge against Disha's father, she has always loved Disha. Her bitterness towards Disha was more for her father than for her. She says that she has imbibed the same values and beliefs in Disha that any mother would imbibe in her daughter. Dishas touches her Mother's feet and says that she will prove herself to be a good daughter and sister and that she will never come in the way of Ranu's happiness. Suhas and Disha have an emotional moment together.

Anupam and Vijay have a discussion on the futures of Inder, Disha and Ranu. Both friends decide that it is only fair that Inder and Disha marry each other as they are both in love with each other. Vijay says that he will explain it out to Ranu and she will definetly understand Disha and Inder's sentiments. Vijay says the only problem factor is Suhas who he knows will never agree to this, but if Ranu herself backs out of Inder and Disha's way, Suhas will then have no option left. They both decide to go and speak to Vijay's father and Suhas on this.

When they come home, Suhas is having a chat with her father-in-law who is very excited about the impending marriage for Ranu and Inder. Vijay and Anupam come in and Vijay says that it is not possible for Inder and Ranu to get married. Suhas tries to protest and when Grandpa asks what is going on, Gautam comes in looking real hassled with a letter in hand.

Okeee, the paper that Gautam comes holding in his hand was not a letter from Disha as guessed b4 by me but actually something much btr...a court notice to evacuate the Bhonsale residence.

The whole family goes into a collective gasp and have no clue as to who has send this notice. Vijay and Anupam go marching to Shikha Roy who is shown sitting and puffing away gloriously. Vijay is furious and asks her why the hell has this notice come to him, since the loan amount has not even been processed so far. She says that he should have read the loan papers before signing them. Vijay says that he had read everything and then signed. He says that the loan was for a period of 25 years and even if he has actually taken the loan, there is still a period of 25 years of repaying it. Shikha smiles gleefully and then informs him to have a look at the date in the agreement which mentions the year 1979. Both Vijay and Anupam are shocked beyond belief. They ask her why has she done this to him, she says she won't bother to reply to this. Vijay loses his temper and says that this is a total fraud on her part and that he will file a case on her. She says that the case won't stand a chance as Vijay can never prove that the signature on the agreement is not his.

Meanwhile Ranu and Sukanya are shown in Dubai (acutally a garishly done up room, which they hope to pass of as Dubai!) and there is some sort of a comic scene where Ranu has shopped a lot and Sukanya is holding all the packets. It was really very lame. She says that she will call up Disha, at the same time Inder is also calling up Disha on her cell, but she ignore his call. He keeps calling up repeatedly, she picks up the call in experation and says Inder, it is actually Ranu calling up. Ranu is surprised and asks her why Disha said Inder, she says that Aai and I were discussing about Inder, hence it just slipped out her mouth. Ranu is pacified (Not only is the lady hyper but a dumbo as well!)

ShVijay and Anupam go to their lawyer who informs that they are badly trapped by Shikha and even if they do file a case, the hearing won't go beyond 2 hearings as whoever has done the paperwork for the agreement has left no loopholes whatsoever. He tells Vijay that he will have to either cough up Rs. 50 crores or auction of his house to Shikha.

Meanwhile in the Bhonsale household, Disha is packing her stuff ready to go somewhere when Gautam comes in (Photo time Navs...Gautam looking very cute!) and asks her what she is upto. Disha says that she is doing what is right for everyone and that only if she goes from this house, will Inder marry Ranu (God knows how?) Gautam protests against her decision and tells her that she is leaving them when they are in hot water as they have received a court notice asking them to evacuate their house. Disha is shocked to hear this and immediately guesses who could be behind this.

At Kanaka Office, DK (looking suitably evil and comic at the same time flicking a bidi ala Rajnikanth syle!) along with his crony Raj is talking to Shikha over the phone (very stylishly, I must say - catch the episode, u will know what I mean). DK tells Shikha that she has done well and she will be paid well for her services. He then calls up Disha who is shocked to hear DK calling her up. He says that now she will have to pay up for her arrogance and her daring to take on DK. He says that she will have to do his bidding now that her house and family business are in his clutches. He says that this is just the beginning of things to come and that there is no limit to his madness. He says that he always gets what he wants, at any cost and in any which way and that she should be wise enough now not to push him any further. He says that if she accepts his offer, not only will it save her family but it will also make her life.

Vijay, Anupam, Azuba, Gautam's dad, Suhas and Gautam are discussing about who could be behind this thing. Anupam says that this cannot be the work of someone like Shikha and that the mastermind behind this whole trap is someone very shrewd and brilliant who has laid out such a trap for them. They wonder who could want to ruin them (what dimwits the whole family is!!!). Disha comes in and says that she knows who is behind this thing. She says that DK had called her up and asked her take up his offer of modelling or else he will ruin her family. She says that she cannot accpet his offer & asks her father if she did the right thing. He is relived and hugs Disha and tells her that she did the right thing. Suhas is not at all happy and wonders that it is because of Disha that DK is after their family and that she should accpet the offer and bail out their house and businesss. But she doesn't say anything in front of everyone. Just make a horrible face!

Vijay and Anupam both decide that they will somehow raise the money and release the house from DK's clutches. Vijay decides to sell off all his shares, but Anupam gives him the cheque for 50 crores. He says that he raised the amout by selling of some of his property (these people are rich!). Vijay is touched by his gesture and tells him now they can throw the cheque on Shikha and DK's face. Meanwhile Disha tells Inder about her past and he is momentarily taken aback. Disha misunderstands him and thinks that he too is affected by her background. She pacifies herself by saying that maybe this will convince Inder to marry Ranu now. But Inder later decides that it is Disha whom he is in love with and not her past though he is not able to let her know this.

At Kanaka City, the terrible threesome of DK, Raj and Shikha are having a meeting while DK is playing Chess with himself (with a real bored expression). That stupid assistant of his, Raj asks him why is he playing with himself for which he replies that he like to lose once in a while and the only way for that is when he competes against himself (Boy, does DK have a killer attitude). Shikha and Raj exchange glances!

Just then Vijay and Anupam come to their Office and throw the cheque at DK. Raj and Shikha give them a shocked look. Vijay warns him to stay away from Disha and his family and walks away. Raj mumble something about the whole thing falling on their face. DK just laughs maniacally while his two cronies just stare at him!

My take on this episode....
Disha has a terrible dress sense and she whines way 2 much 4 her own good. It would be nice if she could show some spirit in her character!

Inder comes a close second in the list of major irritations after Ranu (He is shown sitting alone in his home with candles all around him pining away for Disha :roll

DK is CUTE....whatever anti-DKites mite say...he not only looks dashing throughout (hair or no hair) but also manages to act really well...unlike someone else!
