Dear Sher o shayri members! Hug

We had collected entries for a "Contest of the week"... And we had great participation, though we would like more! We want to reach out to you, please take an effort and reach back!

Ok, so voting rules, you have one vote. Please be fair, and mention the number you like...!

Well, nothing to wait for, so here they are!

Entry 1

Nazuk se sapne mein, do sheeshe ke dil

Sapna jo toota, toh toot gaye dil

Toote hue sapne ki

Taqdeer kya likhein

Kaanch ke tukde jodni ki

Umeed kya karein…

Entry 2

Entry 3

Sapne marzi se aate hain, pooch kar nahin

Par jab aate hain yeh, to aate hain kitne haseen

Kabhi aate hain, to kabhi chod jaate hain

Hume dubaa kar, khoobsurat khayalon mein kahin

Intezaar rehta hai, phir agle sapne ka

Ke humari kahaani khatam na ho jaaye, wahin ke wahin…

Entry 4

Once in the dream of a night I stood
Lone in the light of a magical wood,
Soul-deep in visions that poppy-like sprang;
And spirits of Truth were the birds that sang,
And spirits of Love were the stars that glowed,
And spirits of Peace were the streams that flowed
In that magical wood in the land of sleep.

Lone in the light of that magical grove,
I felt the stars of the spirits of Love
Gather and gleam round my delicate youth,
And I heard the song of the spirits of Truth;
To quench my longing I bent me low
By the streams of the spirits of Peace that flow
In that magical wood in the land of sleep.

Entry 5

Sapnon mein jisko, chaha tha maine

Haqeeqat mein usi ko, paaya hai maine

Khushnaseeb hoon itni, ke mere sapne sach hue

Is sachaayi ki nazar, uthaarti hoon main…

Entry 6

Dreams they come without asking, yes...
And in your dreams you tend to secrets confess
A land of it's own, a different life,
A new name, a new game, new friends, a new wife!
But just when you reach the climax of it, as it seems
Poof! Wake up, don't live in dreams!

Entry 7

Dreams on people, dreams on friends.
Dreams on mistakes, dreams on mends.
Dreams to forget, dreams to regret.
Dreams on all the stamps you collect.
Whatever the dream, whatever the name.
Whatever the story, dream all the same!

Just thought I'd mention that Entry 2 and the first part of Entry 4 are exactly the same!
