Caryn I did not answer Jenim's question because I know you can explain better.
Your recipes are very nice. We too do all these tofu dishes often in our house.
Caryn, a tinge of sugar really brings out the taste in the puli curry.

I think Brinny can subtitute panner for tofu in all the dishes. The taste of panner will be creamy.

Caryn, have you heard about "Seem paal" The first milk after a calf is born. You know it so difficult to get it nowadays. My M.I.Law makes this artificial seem paal and would give to her guests as dessert.
Her guests would be surprised as to where she gets that amount of milk.

No Kavitha.  This is the first time I am hearing about seem paal.  Thanks for explaining.

Kavi, your mention of 'seem paal' brings back memory when I was a kid and my grandmother was alive. You see she had a number of cows and whenever a calf is born she will bring this seem pal for all of us and we loved it so much. It has beem many year but I can still feel the taste. I would certainly appreciate you giving us that recipe!

Caryn - amboi recipi tofu sumbat pun ada.(There's stuffed tofu recipe too) I too make it here mostly during summer. I have also taught some of my american friends this recipe and they like it too. Thanks
