Why is Feb Shortest Month of the Year?

It's a question that we have all been wanting to know....😍

But why IS February the shortest month of the year ?

😕😕😕

 Is it really because of some strange scientific reason (like the winter solstice occurs for 23.453456543 hrs.... therefore, affecting the months, blah blah....) ?  

......or because we make it like that ?

 If February has such a long name, why is it shorter than May, which has such a short name ?

I have an answer...I have a brilliant idea...what is it???Curious..Maybe ancient Romans wanted it like to be the shortest😆...Wicked!

Because Jan is the longest month!! Thats why dey thought dat ppl deserve a smaller month now... 😆

Some girls expect a gift for each day of "love month", so they made it a shorter month to make it easier for these poor guys... lolz!!!! 😆

Well...coz no other month was ready to share days with the year.....except for February....and so it results in a covalent bond...and so is the month February the month in which v share our feelings with our beloved ....... Edited by sweetncute - 17 years ago

February was an innocent, quiet bachcha so naughty January and March choried some days from February. Poor February was very sad so cupid decided to celebrate Valentine's day in February to make it the most lovable month of the year. 😛 So although now February is the shortest month, it is the most lovable month.

Because That is a month where we don't have to go at school/college so many days like Jan... 😆

so that lovers get less time to express their love...
dats why ppl cut it short(february)..yeh zamana to hota hi hai..pyar ka dushman 😛 😛 😛

^ love makes people blind, and GOD can't see people going wayward aftyer 14th feb, he notices their behavious till 28th, max till 29th feb and when he's convinced that they're losing their senses to a certain love, he cuts the month short! 😆

^^LOL....and also good thing does come in a small package!!😛
