A true friend never leaves you and except you of who you are as a person the good and the bad side of you. Is there when you need them the most. thats why i think a true friend is emotal. I am to my friend as an open diary is to a reader.

You cannot live without breathing. The same goes for friends. It impossible to live without them. They are a necessary part of every individual's life just like breathing is. Breathing keeps your heart going. You can also put it this way: How can your heart keep going without friends? If you don't tell them what's in your heart, then who will you tell? Sooner or later the burden will become so big that you will no longer be able to hold it.

I am to my friends as an oxygen mask to an airplane passenger - Even though I may not be called upon very often, I'm there whenever they need me.

both are different from each other but can never be complete without one another...and

i am to my friends as a kid to its mother
mother wont leave her kid alone for a second n will always be with him/her no matter how old the kid gets
kids will always have her blessings whether shes alive or dead
