"So, how are you feeling", Dr. Sharma asked filling out some documents. Case 114714 stared at her blankly mainly concentrating on her nails. Dr. Sharma nails were perfectly shaped and painted with pink nail polish. He looked at his own nails and then back at Dr. Sharma's. They looked very different. His were pale and her's pink. Maybe they werent the same kind after all. As he kept repeating this process, but he didn't notice that Dr. Sharma was recording each and every move of his.
"You never answered me, how are you feeling?", she asked again. Case 114714 looked around and then at Dr. Sharma, "I don't know how to answer that", he said. "Well, are you feeling good, or bad?, she explained.
He looked at his hands and thought for a minute and asked, "How do I know if I'm feeling good or not"?
"Does your head hurt, do you feel weak, dizzy…any uneasiness?", she asked.
"No", he replied
"Well then, you feel fine", Dr. Sharma assured him.
" I'm Dr. Sharma, but you can call me Kripa", Dr. Sharma said as she stuck her hand out for a hand shake. Case 114714 looked at her hand and took it in his and kissed it. This gesture startled Dr. Sharma for a second, but she quickly went back to normal and smiled. "Well that was...sweet", she said. "What is my name?", case 114174 asked. Dr. Sharma stood up and went to him, and knelt down in front of his, "Well that's why I'm here, to help you remember what your name is, where you came from, who you are", she said slightly patted his thigh.
"You will get my memory back", he asked still unsure of whether he should trust Dr. Sharma or not.
"No", relied Dr. Sharma. "I wont get your memory back, I'm merely a guide to help you, you will get your memory back", she added.
Dr. Sharma noticed the patient being alert of her every move, her first mission had to be to make him trust her…blindly.
Case 114714 asked another question after a 5 minute pause of silence, "Can you make the voices go away"?
Dr. Sharma looked at him with curiosity, "What voices?"
"The voices that tell me…", he said.
"Tell you what", Dr. Sharma asked anxiously. "I don't know", replied case 114714 blankly. Dr. Sharma took a breath and looked at her patient, "There are no voices. From now on, all the voices in her mind will become silence. From now on, there will only be one voice…your voice.
"Will you save me", he asked. Dr. Sharma was surprised at all the questions he was asking in their very first meeting. "Save you from what", she asked.
"From the Dark", he answered will his eye's blood shot red.
