I feel odd that I can't recognize most of the names of actresses posted by others on here.
Apart from Madhuri, Helen, Sridevi, Hema and all the newbies these days.

Just remembered Divya Bharati, may not be excellent, but she dances with a grace that is such a rarity... no matter how stupid the dance step may be, she does it with a grace, I cannot explain..

My absolute favorite would be Madhuri. And She is best at what she does!

Sridevi, Meenakshi are another ones I like. Sri especially.

From current lot, I think Pari can dance well. Jigar da tukda and Jhalla walla is my favorite. In Jhalla, she was PERFECT! Gauhar was the dancer in movie. Zoya joins her and Pari acted the part of -- 'Chand ko dekhke Zoya sikha and copy kiya.' so well. Pari didn't sync her steps with Gauhar initially.. got it correct after couple steps. Such a brilliantly acted part for me.

Deepu and Anu can be good.. but I think their height makes them look weird. 'Lachak' in their movements as they call it, is missing.

Baki.. I am not impressed with others so far. They don't have crisp movements of hands and lachak in their body. I find most of these actresses very stiff.

Revathy is soo lovely!! never knew she was trained dancer, no wonder :)

.. another unforgettable South Indian actress is Bhanu priya and the entire movie - Swarna Kamalam :)

when it comes to dancing Helen tops, especially in Cabarets
but Madhuri is an all rounder, being it typical Bollywood dancing, to classical.

hema, waheeda, vijanti, rest...all good, but mostly in classical.
