"Sorry." He looked down at his feet. "Please don't make me eat medicine food."
"You going somewhere?" I asked instead crossing my arms.
"Yes, can we go out Mommy?" He tilted his head back and blinked up at me with those innocent eyes. I glanced at Asad and then at the miniature version of him. I guess he was done being cooped up as me.
"Okay." I caved heading up the stairs.
"What about medicine food Mommy?" He suddenly remembered.
"You be a good boy and I will think about it." I replied.
"Oh boy" I heard him say dramatically. "Never mess with mommy" He advised his father.
"I know little man." Asad replied. And then my boy went on to explain what medicine food is with noises.
This entire conversation was so cute! And I love the way you have described each and every movement, each and every action so when we read it, we know every single detail of that room.
Like the way Zoya handles Reed, Asad's expressions, Hunter's Actions.
"Mommy, where are your pants? Oh boy! He is going to get it bad!
That so called girlfriend of his sure had a big bitchy mouth!
But Asad, graciously accepting the fact that somewhere he to failed to protect his girlfriend or understand her was really understanding of him.
That step father of hers was a jerk and a shame. But I'm mad at hunter for having left back his sister to face him alone.
You had us all I guess at the funeral in the start. It sounded so creepily like Zoya but then how can the half the town hate her.
Glad to see Reed is still being adorable.
Loved reading this and can't wait for more to come!
