Last year of Obama presidency. They normally bring a huge entertainment contingent but this year seems all the more diverse. Plus election year, Trump is all "build a wall, throw people out' may most likely be the nominee of the other party, what better way to show the party of the president is for diversity and minority. In PC they get two minorities, woman and Asian. Means out outreach to Desi community in Election year IMO.
