Note: Just for fun and my curiosity of seeing Abhigya with kids
Someone tried waking up Abhi.
"Papa"
He woke up hearing the little one's husky voice.
"Princess, what are you doing here? Didn't Pragya put you both to sleep?"
"Shhh"
Abhi moved his head up in search of a reason.
"I want Ice-cream" she whispered to him.
"Ice-cream" he look at the clock and it was showing 12-30 am.
"OK I will get you tomorrow morning" he replied in a husky voice.
"I want it now"
"Now?"
"Please papa"
He couldn't deny her. He carried her to the kitchen.
"OK let's us check the fridge"
He opened the fridge.
"What do we have here? Princess, we are lucky. Here is strawberry ice-cream"
She looked upset.
"Why are you upset baby? Strawberry ice-cream is also good as chocolate ice-cream"
He made her sit on the kitchen table.
"I want chocolate ice-cream. It's very hot"
"It's raining cats and dogs outside and you are feeling hot?"
"Papa, my tummy is hot"
He couldn't help but smile.
"OK I will go and wake up your mom. She..."
"No papa."
"But why princess?"
"Last time when I asked her ice-cream, she made Gulab Jamuns"
Abhi remembered that Pragya didn't want her to eat ice-cream because she had cold.
"But how do we get ice-cream without your mom?"
He didn't want to but he decided to call Robin. But she stopped him.
"Mom has said you shouldn't wake anyone from sleep unless it's so necessary"
Abhi was puzzled.
"You want ice-cream?". She shaked her head quickly for an yes.
"You don't want to call Mom or Robin?" She nodded yes again.
He covered his face with his hands thinking what should he do.
"Papa, we can google." He uncovered his face
"I will go and get your mobile." saying this she went running towards his room.
After few minutes, she came back with his mobile.
He started searching for the ingredients in the kitchen.
"Papa, mom was not there." she asked him while eating a chocolate.
"She must have went to washroom"
He was busy cooking for his daughter.
After struggling with the recipe, he made the ice-cream and kept it in the freezer.
"What shall we do now? Ice-cream needs to be frozen. Shall we sleep and eat it tomorrow"
He tried convincing her to sleep. He was already sleepy and this cooking challenge made him more tired. She didn't give in.
"Shall we watch cartoons?"
He realized why Pragya used to worry about their daughter's sleep. They went to a nearby room and he put a cartoon show on his mobile. She was watching while he fell asleep in the couch.
After 1 hour, the film had ended.
"Papa, papa"
He woke up from this cute little girl's finger on the face.
"Princess, ice-cream wouldn't have settled yet"
He was half asleep. He carried her to the kitchen only to see the ice-cream gone. He checked the fridge again. They searched the whole kitchen. Finally they had to eat the strawberry ice-cream.
Both of them were tired. She was also half asleep. He carried her to the kids room. He saw that the lights were on. He thought whether his son is also awake.
After entering the room, Abhi and his princess were shocked to see it.
They caught them red-handed - Pragya and her son eating the chocolate ice-cream. Thus started a pillow fight.
