Kangana Ranaut withheld truth from her lawyer: Hrithik Roshans lega

In the ongoing war between Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut, the "Bang Bang" star's legal team on Monday (April 25) claimed that the actress withheld truth from her lawyer.

"It is quite obvious that his client has withheld the truth from him, and he has not been privy to the evidences until now," Hrithik's lawyers said in a statement.

After Kangana's emails to Hrithik were leaked allegedly showing the actor in the positive light, the actress' lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee blamed Hrithik for purposefully delaying the FIR against an alleged imposter who the "Kites" star claims was speaking to the National Award-winning actress on his behalf.

Rizwan said even in the emails leaked to the media, it is clear that Kangana's sister Rangoli had informed Hrithik about her account being hacked and she even suggested that they should file a joint complaint.

But instead of co-operating Hrithik stopped all communication with my client or her sister and "surprisingly starts receiving a lot of one-sided emails from my client at a time when my clients emails were hacked."

Rizwan said Hrithik is accused of "hacking my clients emails and also of being in a relationshipwith my client, besides there being a charge on him that he has also sent alot of stuff in the last 6 months to my client and therefore there cannot be any imposter".

The 29-year-old actress is set to record her statement as a witness in the imposter case filed by Hrithik on April 30 and his legal team claims it will prove the truth.

"Come 30th April, the investigating agency, entrusted with investigating (Hrithik) Roshan's complaint shall know the truth, once (Kangana) Ranaut submits her electronic devices for forensic examination and gets her statement recorded in accordance with the law," Hrithik's lawyer added.

What started as a complaint against an alleged imposter by Hrithik has turned into an ugly public and legal battle between the two stars, with both coming up with allegations and counter-allegations against each other every other day.

The 42-year-old "Krrish" star and Kangana have slapped legal notices on each other for defamation.

Hrithik, who was the first to send the legal notice to Kangana, has demanded that she apologise in a press conference publicly and clear the air about their alleged affair which he firmly refutes.

Kangana sent a counter-notice to the actor, alleging him of s**t-shaming' by circulating private mails and photos.
