Hi guys,
I know I am late in posting the update but what was busy so I could nt.
But due to the demand of the readers,here I am with the update.
CHAPTER -26
Nandini was very happy to see the person who bumped into her.
Nandini - Abhi tum yahan.
(The person was none other than Abhimanyu- 25 year old. Handles his father's business. Was staying in Australia. Has come back to India a couple of weeks back. A very fun loving person. In relationship with Mukti.Nandini's childhood friend and neighbour. He had shifted to Australia before Nandini's marriage and they were not in contact since then.)
Abhi- Nandu... what a pleasant surprise .
Saying this Abhimanyu hugged Nandini.
Abhi- Nandu yaar tum kitni badal gayi ho. Maine to bilkul bhi recognise nahi kiya ki ye tum ho. I mean tum aise...
Nandini - Waqt ke sath sab badal jaata hai Abhi.
Abhi- Haan. Baat to sahi hai.
All this was seen by a pair of jealous eyes.
That person came forward and held Abhimanyu's hand.
Person - Hi Abhi...
Abhi- Mukti... Kaha reh gayi thi yaar. Mai kabse wait kar raha hu.
( The person who got jealous seeing Abhi and Nandini hugging each other was Mukti.)
Intro of Mukti - a rich girl. Owns a fashion house. Short tempered but can do anything for her loved ones.
In a relationship with Abhimanyu. Getting married to him very soon.
Mukti - Sorry wo ek urgent meeting aagayi thi so ...

Saying this was looking at Nandini)
Abhi- Acha theek hai. Meet Nandini my childhood friend. Maine bataya tha na tumhe.
Mukti- Oh ya...Nandini... Right...
I remember. Pleased to meet you Nandini. I am Mukti Vardhan, Abhimanyu's fiance.
Saying this Mukti forwarded her hand .
Nandini - Hello Mukti. Nice to meet you, too.
Abhi looked at Manik who was standing beside Nandini.
Manik - Hi I am Manik Malhotra.
Abhi- Hello Manik.
They shared a formal introduction.
Mukti - Abhi we are getting late. Pehle andar chalke Maatha tek lete hai. Then we have to go for lunch and we have a flight to catch.
Abhi- Oh yes .
Abhi to Manik and Nandini - Guys why don't you join us for lunch.
Nandini - No Abhi actually Hume bhi wapas Mumbai Jana hai.
Abhi- Kaunsi flight se aur Tumhare flight ke timings kya hai?
Nandini looked at Manik .
Manik gave him the details of the flight.
Abhi- That's good. Because main bhi same flight se Mumbai jaraha hu.
Mukti - Abhi let's go...
Abhi - Haan coming...
It was nice to meet you guys. Will see you soon.
Saying this he went away.
Manik saw Nandini's facial expressions.
She was very happy to see Abhi.
Manik then remembered that Abhi had said that Nandini had changed a lot in these years.
Manik self thought-
That means Nandini is not like what she was before.
She is trying to hide her true self from the world.
I have to do something to make her come out of her shell.
For that I have to know more about her.
And Abhi is the person who can tell me everything about her as they were childhood friends.
Manik to Nandini - Nandini tum Bua aur baaki sab ke paas jao mai abhi aaya.
Nandini - But aap jaa kaha rahe ho.
Manik - Nothing wo Kuch kaam yaad agaya. Karke aata hu .
Nandini - Ok .
With this Nandini went and joined Shanti and others.
Manik went inside the Golden Temple and thanked God .
Manik -
Thank you God. Apne itni jaldi meri prayer sun li.
Now I will get to know the real Nandini through Abhimanyu.
Then he went to join the others.
They spent the rest of the day visiting a park and other places.
It was evening now and they had to leave for Mumbai.
Manik dropped the kids to the orphanage and left with Shanti and Nandini for the airport .
They met Abhimanyu and Mukti at the airport.
All of them boarded the flight.
Manik sat with Abhi so that he could ask him about Nandini.
Mukti, Nandini and Shanti were seated together.
Mukti got busy in reading a fashion magazine as she wanted to avoid talking to Nandini as her first impression was not good about Nandini . Mukti didn't like the way Abhi was giving special attention to Nandini more than her.
Nandini - Mukti I am really thrilled to meet you.
I am a big fan of yours.
I have read about all your works.
You are really very efficient in your business.
Though Mukti didn't like talking to strangers, but when it came to talks on fashion she would forget everything.
Mukti and Nandini chatted on various things about designing and other stuff.
Mukti really liked Nandini.
Mukti self thought-
She is very cute.
My first impression about her was so wrong.
While chatting,Mukti came to know that Nandini had a lot of knowledge about fashion designing.
Mukti was really impressed with Nandini's understanding of all the minute details of fashion designing.
Mukti - Nandini how come you have so much knowledge about fashion designing?
Nandini - Wo actually mujhe bahut Pehle se fashion designing me interest tha. I have read all the articles published by your mother.
She was very good in the field and now you have taken over . You are equally good in it.
Intro of Mukti's mother -
Shilpa Vardhan - 50 year old lady. Very lively and caring. Loves her family a lot. Was a fashion designer but had left everything. Now Mukti handles her fashion house.
Mukti - Tum Mom se mili ho kya?
Nandini - Haan she visited our college a couple of times for fashion designing workshops toh I had an opportunity to interact with her.
Mukti - Oh. That's nice.
Nandini - How is she now?
Mukti's face dropped on hearing this.
Nandini - Kya hua Mukti. Maine Kuch galat puch liya kya?
Mukti - No. Mom has met with an accident 2 years back and she lost her memory.
She doesn't even recognise me.
Mukti got emotional and started to cry.
Nandini hugged her and patted her head.
Nandini consoled her and said- Don't cry Mukti. Everything will be fine. Have faith in God.
After lot of consoling, Mukti stopped crying and said-
I am sorry. I just got too emotional.
Nandini - It's Ok Mukti. I can understand.
Meanwhile,
Manik in conversation with Abhi came to know that Nandini was very much interested in Fashion designing and wanted to build her career in it.
Abhi also came to know of Vivek's death and felt sad for Nandini.
Abhi-
You know Manik , Nandini aisi bilkul bhi nahi thi.
She was very bubbly and chirpy.
But now when I see her silence, it hurts me.
I wish I was there for her in her sad times.
Manik - It's Ok Abhi, we all are there for her.
And I promise you that I will try to bring her old self back.
Abhi- Manik shayad tum nahi jante wo bahut ziddi hai. Wo apne aap se Kuch nahi batayegi. Aur Agar usey pata chalgaya ki Maine tumhe bataya hai to wo to mujhe maar hi dalegi.
Manik chuckled on hearing this.
Manik - Don't worry I won't let your name come in between .
Abhi- Thank you. Mujhe Uske gusse se bahut dar Lagta hai.
Manik smiled remembering that Nandini indeed has a lot of anger.
Manik - Mujhe bhi...
And both of them laughed heartily.
Manik self thought-
So Nandini has interest in fashion designing.
Very impressive.
I have to do something.
Abhi and Manik talked about Nandini's likes dislikes and about Abhimanyu's business and Manik's passion I.e. photography.
Both the guys and the girls got along really well.
The flight landed in Mumbai and Abhi and Mukti bid goodbye to Manik, Nandini and Shanti after deciding to meet very soon.
Phewww... Done with another update.

I know you guys wanted some Manan moments. Sorry for disappointing you all. But this was important as it has a very important link to the coming chapters.
