CHAPTER-13
Next day at Murthy Mansion-
Nandini got up early and saw Navya still sleeping.
She went to freshen up .
After having a shower,she came out and saw Navya still sleeping.
Nandini smiled and went near her to wake her up.
She got a wicked idea to wake up Navya.
Nandini took a jug full of water and was about to throw water on Navya when Navya said with closed eyes- Stop it Nandu. Tumhe Manik ki kasam.
Nandini on hearing this immediately stopped in midway.
Navya opened her eyes and smiled.
Nandini- Navvu this is not fair. You can't tease me like this.
She made a cute pout.
Navya- Oh my God. Just look at you.
Manik ka naam sunte hi ruk gayi.
Nandini- Navvu stop it na. Please.
Navya- Acha Baba theek hai.
Nandini- Jao jaldi ready hojao. Warna college ke liye late hojayenge.
Navya- OK.
Saying this she went to washroom and Nandini went downstairs .
After sometime Navya got ready and came down.
Nandini- Navvu lets finish our breakfast first then college ke liye nikalte hai.
They both had breakfast.
Navya- Nandu Dadaji kaha hai.
Nandini- Wo to kab ka office chale gaye.
Navya- OK. To chale college.
They both left to college.
Vishnu had appointed a driver for them for her safety and instructed him to keep an eye on Nandini.
Nandini and Navya reached college and attended all the lectures.
It was almost evening.
They were sitting in the canteen when Navya spoke.
Navya- Nandu waise tumne Manik ko thanks abhi tak nahi bola na.
Nandini nodded her head in a no and said- Kaise bolti thanks. Thanks bolne ke liye mujhe usse milna hoga na.
Navya - Hmm... Baat toh sahi hai. Toh chale.
Nandini- Kahan.
Navya- Arey budhu office ko Manik se milne aur kaha...
Nandini- Nai Navvu . Wahan Dadu honge.
Navya- Haan toh. Wo kaunsa tumhe khajayenge. Tum Chalo to sahi.
Nandini- Par...
Navya- Par var kuch nahi. Tum Chalo mere sath.
Saying this she dragged Nandini to the car and they asked the driver to take them to their office.
They reached the office and went inside.
The receptionist knew Nandini very well as she was Vishnu Murthy's granddaughter. She welcomed Nandini with a warm smile and said- Yes Mam how may I help you.
Nandini- Dadu hai kya apne cabin me.
Receptionist- Mam wo conference hall me hai in a meeting.
Navya slapped her forehead and whispered to Nandini- Pagal ladki tum Dadu se milne aayi ho ya Manik se. Manik ke baare me pucho. Tumse nahi hoga mai hi puch leti hu.
Navya- Actually mujhe ... I mean hame Manik se milna tha. Could you show us the way to his cabin.
Receptionist- Sure Ma'am. Go straight and take a right turn . It's the third cabin beside the staircase that leads down to the store room.
Navya thanked her and went in the direction with Nandini.
They both reached the cabin and knocked it.
There was no answer.
Navya opened the door and found the cabin empty.
She asked the peon who was passing by as to where Manik was.
Peon told them that he was in the storeroom downstairs.
Navya thanked him and he went away.
Navya turned to Nandini and said- To hamara kaam khatam hua. Ab tum jao Manik se milne , hum canteen me wait karte hai.
Nandini- Navya tum bhi Chalo na sath me.
Navya- Mai kya karungi waha tum dono ke beech. Tum jao. Saying this she left from there.
Nandini- Navya suno toh...
But Navya had already left.
Nandini sighed and went downstairs to the storeroom.
Meanwhile in the store room -
Manik was going through some documents and taking notes from it.
He heard footsteps and looked up to find Nandini.
Manik- Nandini tum yahan...
