CHAPTER -50
Nandini and Nyonika reached home after shopping.
Nyonika was too tired and went directly to her room.
Nandini took all the shopped items to her room and kept it in the cupboard.
Manik was there in the room working on his laptop.
Nandini went to freshen up and came out of the washroom.
Manik was still busy in his work that he didn't even look at Nandini even for once.
This act of Manik bothered Nandini.
She had thought that they would get to spend time with each other now that the kids weren't there at home.
Nandini went to him and asked - Aap kya kar rahe ho itni der se. Mai kabse observe kar rahi hu ki apne ek baar bhi meri taraf nahi Dekha. Aisa kya important kaam kar rahe ho aap.
Manik looked at her and said- Kyu batau mai Tumhe. Kya har baat batana zaruri hai?
Nandini - Kya hogaya hai aapko. Aise kyu bol rahe ho aap.
Manik -
Aur kya bolu Nandini?
Kya Tum har baat batati ho mujhe ?
Nandini got confused hearing this.
Nandini - But Maine aapse kya chupaya hai????
Manik - Acha to tumne Kuch bhi nahi chupaya...
Nandini - Nahi Maine to Kuch nahi chupaya.
Manik - To fir Ye kya hai.
Saying this he showed her the letter of Nandini's assignment.
Nandini Was shocked to see the letter in Manik's hand.
Nandini -Ye aapko kaha se Mila??? Ye toh...
Manik - That's not the question here. What matters is you have hidden this from me.
Nandini - Manik aisa nahi hai. Mujhe laga ki ...
Manik - Kya laga Nandini ke mujhe kabhi nahi pata chalega iske baare me.
Nandini - Aisa nahi hai... Aap please shaant hojaiye. Ye letter mujhe shaadi se Pehle Mila tha. But now things have changed. I don't want to do that project now.
Manik - Nandini it's not correct. Just because we are married now it doesn't mean that you forget your dreams. I know that interior designing is your passion so you should pursue your dream.
Nandini - But Agar mai job karungi to Aarav-Khushi akele hojayenge ghar pe.
Manik - Nandini Ab wo log bade hogaye hai. Soon they will be joining school. So you can go for your job in the available Time.
Nandini thought that Manik is correct.
Manik - Nandini I don't want you to forget your dreams just for the sake of Aarav-Khushi. I want you to take up this job.
Nandini - Ok. Agar aap keh rahe ho to i will do this job.
Manik - Good.
Nandini smiled at Manik.
Manik - What? Why are you smiling?
Nandini came near Manik and kissed him on his cheek and said- Thanks. Ap sach me bahut ache ho.
Saying this she hugged him . Manik was shocked with the sudden hug.
He hugged her back.
Manik - Nandini you don't need to thank me for anything.
Nandini - I know. You are a real superhero.
Manik smiled hearing the word SuperHero.
Nandini broke the hug and said - Ek baat bolu...
Manik - Bolo.
Nandini - Please aap gussa mat hona kabhi mujhse. Aapke gusse se mujhe dar Lagta hai.
Manik - I promise mai tumpe kabhi gussa nahi honga.
Nandini - Hmm... Good...
Manik - Acha Waise Tum Mom ke sath kaha gayi thi?
Nandini - Wo humlog shopping pe gaye the. Aapko pata Hai Mom ne kitni Saari shopping karwai .
Manik thought to himself - Mom kabhi nahi sudhrengi . Maine mana kiya tha but fir bhi.
Nandini was non stop continuing with her talks about what all things they got for their vacation.
Manik held Nandini by her waist and pulled her towards him and kept his finger on her lips to stop her .
Manik - Shhh... Kitna bolti ho yaar tum. Thakti nahi ho kya.
Nandini looked at Manik's finger on her lips and lowered her head.
Manik lifted her head and brought his face close to Nandini's face and was about to kiss her but...
