Here I am presenting another update.
CHAPTER -47
Manik went to his room and sat at the study table. He took out some files to work on them as he had to go to an important meeting in the afternoon.
In the meantime in the kids room -
The kids were still busy in sharing with Nandini what all they had done in her absence.
Aarav-Khushi - Mumma aaj fish ki movie Dekhna hai... pleashhh.
Nandini - Fish ki movie??? Ok. Mai apke Dadoo se puchti hoon.
Aarav-Khushi - Mumma please... please...
Nandini - Chalo Aaru Khush Pehle lunch karlo fir we will continue with the talks.
Saying this Nandini took them to the dining table and fed them.
Both the kids made faces while eating as they didn't find the so called healthy food tasty.
Nandini asked them to stop but they ran away.
Nandini smiled at the kids and went to her room.
Manik While working remembered how he had blurted out the honeymoon thing in front of Nyonika.
A smile crept on Manik's lips and he thought to himself - Ye Mom bhi na. Ek chance nahi chodti mujhe tease karne ka.
Nandini entered the room and saw Manik smiling.
Nandini - Kya hua aap akele me kyu muskura rahe ho.
Manik came out of his thoughts and said- Nahi. Kuch nahi. Mai to bas aise hi.
Nandini - Acha theek hai. Waise aap kar kya rahe ho.
Manik - Wo Kuch important papers dekh raha tha.
Nandini - Oh... Ok. Continue.
Saying this she went to the cupboard to arrange it.
Nandini got a bit upset that she won't be able to fulfill the kids' wish as Manik was doing some important work.
Manik observed her expressions and asked - Nandini kya hua?
Is everything ok?
Nandini - Ya. Sab theek hai.
Manik got up and went to her.
He turned Nandini towards him .
Manik - Ab bolo kya hua hai.
Nandini - Wo actually Aarav-Khushi movie dekhne ki zid kar rahe the aur Maine unhe promise kar diya but aap to busy hai ...
Manik - Bas itni si baat. Ab tumne promise kar diya hai. To how can I say no. Kaam to baad me hojayega. Aur remember one thing I can never be busy when it comes to you...
Nandini looked at Manik confused.
Manik then corrected himself and added - And Aarav-Khushi.
Nandini - Iska Matlab we are going out for movie.
Manik - Yes. Ab jaldi se ready hojao aur Aarav-Khushi ko bhi bata do.
Nandini got really excited and jumped in excitement clapping her hands.
Then she realised that she was acting like a kid and bit her tongue and said-Sorry
Then she rushed out from the room to get the kids.
Manik smiled on her cuteness and took out his mobile and called Cabir.
Manik- Cabir yaar can you handle today's meeting. I won't be able to make it .
Cabir - But Manik your presence is important. You know it right.
Manik - Cabir I know it yaar. But please ek baar manage karle.
Cabir - Ok. I will try. Waise tu kyu nahi aaraha hai.
Manik - Wo Nandini... I mean Aarav-Khushi ko movie dekhne thi to going out with them.
Cabir - Ooohhh... Now I get it. Seedhe seedhe bol na ki Nandini ke sath bahar jaraha hai.
Manik - No Cabir it's nothing like that. Wo to Aarav-Khushi...
Cabir - Haan Haan mai samajgaya. Theek hai chal mai rakhta hu. Enjoy yourself.
Manik - Thanks yaar. You are a true friend.
With this he kept the phone and got ready.
Nandini readied the kids and went down.
Manik was already waiting for them in the hall.
The kids ran to Nyonika who was also present in the hall and said that they are going out for a movie and Nyonika smiled on seeing their excitement.
Nandini looked at Manik and thought to herself - OMG. He is looking hot in this attire.
Then Nandini mentally slapped herself for thinking like that.
Manik and Nandini shared a cute eyelock.
Nyonika observed this and said-
Nyonika - Manik,Nandini tum log late hojaoge. Movie ka time hogaya hai.
Manik and Nandini broke the eyelock and looked here and there.
Manik - Haan Mom . Jarahe hai. Chalo bachcho.
With this Manik left with Nandini and Aarav-Khushi.
Nyonika to herself - Please God mere bachcho ko hamesha Khush rakhna.
Inki khushiyon ko Kisi ki nazar na lage.
