So guys as promised here I am with a long long update.

Nandini went inside and joined the others.
Everyone had finished their dinner except Pia and Nandini
Padma asked Pia and Nandini -
Pia, Nandu aajao Beta khana khalo.
Nandini and Pia- Ok Amma.
They went and sat at the dinner table.
Padma fed both of them with a spoon as they had Mehndi on their hands.
After they finished eating, Padma said- Pia Beta tu Jake rest kar thak gayi hogi. Kal jaldi uthna hai tujhe.
Pia- Ok Amma.
Pia hugged Padma and went to her room.
Nandini and Padma went to see off the guests.
After that everyone retired to their rooms.
Nandini came to her room and lied down on her bed.
He thought about the game they had played sometime back.
Nandini to herself -
When I was describing the qualities of my life partner, why did I have Jiju on my mind.
Stupid Nandu, Ofcourse you will have him in your mind because he has all the qualities which any girl would want in her life partner.
Yes that's the only reason nothing else.
She explained this to herself and went to sleep.
Nandini got up early the next morning and Aarav-Khushi came running to her.
Aarav-Khushi - Good Morning Mummaaa...

Aarav-Khushi - Mumma show your hands.

Nandini smiled hearing this.

She immediately looked at her hands and her eyes popped out of their sockets.
Indeed Manik's name was present in the Mehndi design.
She couldn't believe what she saw.

Navya then gave a look to Nandini's hands and went away.
Nandini freshened up and changed into a blue salwar suit, with dangling earrings and heels . She did a minimal make-up and went down.

Nandini looked for the kids but they were nowhere to be seen.
She asked Padma - Amma Bachche kaha hai. Dikhayi nahi de rahe.
Padma - Shayad Manik ke room me honge.
Nandini - Ok.
She was about to go when Padma stopped her and said- Nandu bachcho ke liye milk lekar ja.
Nandini - Ji Amma.
She went to the kitchen to get milk.
Pia came down and showed her Mehndi to Padma and said- Amma see meri Mehndi kitni dark chadi hai.
Padma smiled seeing the colour of Pia's Mehndi.
Nandini was going up when Padma stopped her again and said- Arey Nandu ruk dekh Pia ki Mehndi kitni dark chadi hai.
Nandini - Wow Pia Di not bad. Arjun Jiju love you a lot.
Pia blushed and ran away from there.
Padma - Nandu teri Mehndi dikha.
Nandini panicked on hearing this.
Nandini -W...Wo... Amma m...Mai Pehle ye milk dekar aati hu bachcho ko. Fir dekh Lena.
And she rushed away from there.
Padma - Arey Par Beta sun toh...
But Nandini had already left.
Padma - Ye ladki bhi na. Pata nai kya karti rehti hai.
Then Padma got busy in her work.

Nandini - Haan mai bachcho ko ye milk dene aayi thi. Wo log room me hai na.
Manik - Haan andar hai wo log.
Nandini - Ok.
And she went in.
Manik too followed her.
Nandini - Aaru Khush Manav Chalo yaha aao jaldi se ye milk pee lo.
Aarav-Khushi - Yucckkk... Milk... No Mumma Hume nahi peena ye plain milk.
Nandini - Kyu nahi peena. It's so healthy you know. Agar tum log milk piyoge to strong Banoge.
Aarav - Strong... Dadoo ki tarah?
Nandini - Haan. Apke Dadoo ki tarah.
Aarav - Mai piyunga milk.
Manav- Mai bhi...Mujhe bhi Manik CHACHU jaise strong banna hai.
Nandini smiled and gave the milk glasses to Aarav and Manav.
Nandini turned towards Khushi and said- Khush tum nahi piyogi ?
Khushi made a bad face and said- Nai. Ye to boys hai . Mujhe strong nahi banna...
Nandini laughed heartily and said- Khush girls milk peene se beautiful hojati hai.
Khushi - Sachhh... Milk peene se apki tarah beautiful hijaungi mai?
Nandini - Haan sach . Aur tum to already beautiful ho. Use peene se aur beautiful hojaogi.
Khushi drank the milk.
Manik had a wide smile seeing how Nandini convinced the kids to drink milk.
Nandini took the empty glasses from the three of them and was about to go when Aarav-Khushi said- Mummaaa hamara secret kab batayenge Hun sabko.
Nandini's eyes widened hearing this as Manik was also present in the room.
Nandini to herself - Ye kya kar rahe hai ye log. Agar Jiju ko pata chalgaya to... wo kya sonchenge mere baare me.
Manik - What secret???? Aarav-Khushi what's going on.
Aarav-Khushi looked at Manik and then Nandini.
Nandini asked them with her eyes not to say anything.
Aarav-Khushi - Nothing Dadoo.
And they ran away from there.
Manik - Nandini ye Bachche kya bol rahe the. Kis secret ki baat kar rahe the Jo sabko batana hai.
Nandini - Kuch nahi Jiju. Wo to bas aise hi.
Nandini was about to go away from the room when Manik said-
Nandini stop. Aarav-Khushi aise hi kuch bhi nahi bolte. You know it right. So tell me what secret are you guys talking about.
Nandini - Jiju wo ek mistake hogayi. But isme meri koi galti nahi hai. Mujhe to pata bhi nahi tha ki aisa kuch hoga.
Manik - Kaisi mistake . Ye puzzles me mat baat karo . Saaf saaf batao hua kya hai.
Nandini - Ok batati hu. But Promise me ke aap mujhe daatenge nahi aur Amma ko nahi batayenge.
Manik - Ok I promise. Ab batao.
Nandini extended her right hand to show Manik the Mehndi and his name written in it.
Manik saw her hand and asked - Kya hua. Ye toh Mehndi hai.
Nandini - Jiju wo Mehndi artist ne isme apka naam likhne diya galti se.
Nandini pointed her finger on his name written on her hand.
Manik saw it and his heart skipped a beat.
He so wanted to see his name on her hands but not like this and not in such situation.
Nandini - Jiju mai ab kya karu. Morning se Amma se hide kar rahi hu.But I can't hide it for long. Wo eventually dekh hi legi meri Mehndi.
Manik had no answer to this question as he was busy in observing her Mehndi adorned hands with his name .
Just then someone entered the room and said- Ye kya ho raha hai yahan pe.
Nandini hid her hands as soon as she saw that person.
Person - Tum kya chupa rahi ho Nandini. Hath dikhao apna.
That person took Nandini's hand and saw what she was hiding.
Person - Ye kya hai. Manik ka name tumhare hath pe. What's going on?
Nandini - Aunty wo Mehndi artist ne galti se likh diya hoga . Maine Kuch nahi kiya. Mujhe to pata bhi nahi thi aj subah tak.
(Yes guys it was Nyonika. I know most of you must have thought it to be Padma but no It wasn't her. )
Nandini - Auntyji please help me . Amma to mujhe maar hi dalegi.
Nyonika - Ok Beta. Let me think.
Manik was all this while list in his thoughts.
Nyonika - Got it.
Manik came out of his thoughts and said- Got what?
Nyonika - Idea aur kya. Now get me a bandage.
Manik - Bandage kyu?
Nyonika - Because Nandini's hand is injured.
Manik - What ? Kaha?
He looked at Nandini's hand.
Nyonika rolled her eyes and said- Manik just do as I say.
Manik went and got the first aid box.
Nyonika took the bandage and tied it on Nandini's hand making sure that Maniks name also hid under the bandage.
Nyonika - koi bhi puche to keh dena ki glass se lag gayi chot.
Nyonika pointed towards the empty glasses of milk.
Nandini - Thanks Aunty. You are a lifesaver.
She hugged Nyonika and went away taking the glasses but not before breaking one of the glass and collect the broken pieces and kept it in the tray.
After Nandini left, Nyonika turned towards Manik and said- Ye to bahut smart and intelligent hai.
Manik smiled and said - Hmm...
Nyonika - Oye hoye itna muskuraye jaarahe ho. Kya baat hai .
Manik - Koi baat nahi hai. Aap bhi na Mom.
Nyonika - Ohhh... koi baat nahi hai. Beta mai tumhari Mom hu. You can't hide it from me.
Manik - Mom I am not hiding anything.
Nyonika - Acha to yeh kya hai...
Nyonika showed him the laptop.
Nyonika - Mujhe sab pata hai tum isme kya chupa rahe ho.
Manik snatched the laptop from her hands and said- Mom this is not fair yaar. How can you do this to me?How can you search my personal things?
Nyonika - Ab tum Kuch bataoge nahi to mujhe khud hi pata karna hoga na.

So chupane ki sochna bhi mat. Sach sach batao. Do you love her?
Manik - What? Whom?
Nyonika -Oh just stop all this . I need a straightforward answer. Yes or no?
Manik turned his back towards Nyonika and said- Yes Mom I do...
Nyonika - Aur itne saal se ye baat apne andar hide karke rakhi . Apni Mom ko bhi batana zaruri nahi samjha.
Manik - Mom I was scared. I don't know if all this is right or wrong. I mean she is Anita's sister. How can I love her. Agar usey pata chalgaya to kya sochegi wo mere baare me.
Nyonika - Manik Anita is your past. Bhul jao use. And move on in life Beta. Air rahi baat Nandini ki toh wo tumhari Bahut respect karti hai Beta aur Bachche bhi usey bahut pyaar karte hai. To use kya problem hogi Beta. In fact she would happily agree to be mother of Aarav-Khushi.
Manik - And what about me? Will she be able to love me.
Nyonika had no answer to it.
NYONIKA - But Manik...

Nyonika had tears in her eyes.

Manik - Mom please don't cry. Mai Khush hu. I have my kids with me and aap aur dad bhi to hai. I don't need anyone else.
Nyonika - Tum destiny ki baat kar rahe ho. To destiny wants you and Nandini to be together that's why Nandini ke haathon me tumhara naam likh diya upar wale ne.
Manik - Mom wo to by mistake hogaya tha.
Nyonika - Mai nahi manti ke ye galti se hua. Shayad upar wala yahi chahta hai. Ye uska indication hai hamare liye.
Manik - Mom aap...
Nyonika - Mai tumhari tarah chup nahi baithne wali. I will do anything and everything to see you guys together.
Saying this she went out of the room before Manik could stop her.
Manik - Ab Mom kya karne wali hai. Mujhe unhe rokna hoga.
He went down and didn't find Nyonika anywhere.
Manik called her and she said that she went home and would return by evening at the sangeet ceremony.
The whole day passed by and Manik was busy in instructing the decorators.
It was now time for the sangeet ceremony.
Padma came and told Manik - Manik Beta wo Jo artists aaj sangeet me performance karne wale the unhone call karke kaha hai ki wo nahi aapayenge . Ab hum kya Karenge Beta. Saare mehmaan aagaye hai. Logo ko kya kahenge hum .
Cabir heard all this and said- Auntyji aap bura na mano to mai Kuch kahu.
Padma- Haan bolo Beta.
Cabir - Artists nahi aarahe hai to kya hua. Hamare beech bhi ek itna Acha singer hai. Hum usi se gana gawa lete hai.
Padma- Kaun Beta.
Cabir - Auntyji aapka ladla damad Manik aur kaun.
Padma- Haan... Manik tumhe gaana game aata hai?
Cabir-Auntyji gaane ki kya baat kar rahe ho aap. Ye to guitar bhi achi tarah Baja leta hai. Hamare college ka rockstar tha ye.
Manik- Cabir chup kar yaar.
Nahi Amma ye Kuch bhi bol raha hai. Wo to bahut purani baat hai.
Padma- Beta gaa lo na ek gaana. Apni Amma ki baat nahi manoge.
Manik- But Amma...
Nandini- Jiju please ... logon ko bhi to pata chale ki aap kitne multi talented ho.
Cabir whispered in Manik's ear- Haye mar daala. Itne pyar se request karegi to bhala kaun mana karpayegi.
Manik glared at Cabir.
Manik - But Amma mere pass guitar nahi hai abhi.
Nyonika - Yeh raha tumhara guitar .
Nyonika entered the room in which they were talking.
Manik - Mom apko yeh kaha se Mila.
Nyonika - Wahi se jaha tumne ise chupa ke rakha tha.
Padma - Ok. Ab guitar bhi aagaya. Chalo Beta neeche chalte hai. Sab wait kar rahe honge.
Padma and Nandini went down.
Cabir- Yaar Manik teri saas kitni selfish hai. Hamesha apne baare me hi sochti hai.
Nyonika - Cabir aise nahi bolte. Wo badi hai tumse. Chalo jaldi se neeche Chalo.
All of them went down.
Manik took his guitar and sat on a stool at the centre of hall.
(Imagine that Manik is sitting on the stool)(Attire is same)
Manik strummed his guitar and began the song by looking at Nandini -

Kya ye woh makaam mera hai
Yahaan chain se bas ruk jaaun

(Manik thought about all the moments he got to spend with Nandini)

(He thought about what Nandini had said last night about the qualities she would like to see in her husband.)

(He thought about how Nandini had taken care of his kids)

(Manik then closed his eyes and thought about how he forgot all his pain just by the presence of Nandini around him)
Muskaata yeh chehra

Auron ko toh hardam saaya deta hai
Woh dhoop mein hai khada khud magar
Chot lagi hai usey,
Phir kyun mehsoos mujhe ho raha hai

(Manik thought about the moment when he saw his name hidden in the Mehndi design on Nandini's hands

(Manik got up from his seat ,went towards Nandini and took her hand and pulled her towards him and twirled her and started to sway with Nandini with his eyes closed)

Everyone started to clap as he finished the song and praised him saying that he has an amazing voice.
Manik opened his eyes and realized that he had only imagined the dance with Nandini.
He looked towards Nandini who was clapping her hands.
She was thoroughly impressed by Manik's song.
Nandini came to Manik and said- Wowww Jiju... Aap itna Acha gana gaate hai. Mujhe to bilkul bhi pata nahi tha.
Manik smiled hearing this.
Phewww...
