Next day Nyonika got up and prepared breakfast for all of them.
Manik came down and saw that the kids are missing.
He went to Nyonika and asked- Mom Aarav-Khushi kaha hai. Nazar nahi aarahe .
Nyonika- Wo log to kab ka uth gaye aur bahar khel rahe hai.
Manik- Acha .OK. Unhone khana to kha liya hai na.
Nyonika- Nahi Beta . Abtak unhone khana nahi khaya. Wo bhi tumhari tarah ziddi hai. Keh rahe the ki tumhare sath hi khayenge.
Manik- OK . Mai unhe leke aata hu. Aap khana laga dijiye.
Manik went to the garden to get the kids.
He thought that they might be playing but what he saw shaked him to the core.
Aarav-Khushi were sitting on a bench and crying holding something.
Manik went to them .
Manik- Kya hua . Mere babies ro kyu rahe hai.
Seeing Manik they hid that thing which they were hiding.
Manik asked- Kya chupa rahe ho aap log mujhse.
Aarav-Khushi- Kuch nahi Dadoo.
Manik - Acha OK pehle rona band karo.
Manik wiped their tears one by one and said- Kyu ro rahe the aap log. Kuch chahiye kya. Mujhe bolo mai leke aaunga apne bachcho ke liye.
Aarav-Khushi- Mumma chahiye.
Saying this they started crying again.
Manik was shocked to hear this.
He didn't have anything to say.
Aarav showed him the picture which they were hiding.
It was Nandini's photo.
Manik's heart broke into hundreds if pieces seeing his kids crying .
He had tears in his eyes.
He immediately got up from there and went to his room.
Nyonika saw all this and her heart broke.
She wanted to go behind Manik but first she had to make sure that the kids are OK.
Nyonika went and sat in front of Aarav-Khushi.
Nyonika- Aarav-Khushi kya hua babies.
Tum log to good babies ho na to fir to kyu rahe ho.
Aarav-Khushi- Good babies???
Nyonika- Yes you both are your Dadoos good babies. And good babies don't cry.
Aarav-Khushi wiped their tears themselves.
Nyonika- Dadoo has planned a surprise for you.
Aarav-Khushi- surprise? What???
Nyonika- Ab yeh to surprise hai. Dadoo hi bata sakte hai tum logo ko.
Aarav-Khushi smiled hearing the word 'surprise'.
Nyonika- Ab achche bachcho ki tarah breakfast karlo and play in your room.
Aarav-Khushi nodded and quickly finished eating and went to their room to play .
Nyonika went to Manik's room but didn't find him.
She went to the balcony attached to his room and saw Manik sitting there lost in his thoughts.
Nyonika- Manik...
As soon as he heard her , he immediately got up and hugged her and started crying like a kid.
Nyonika felt really bad seeing his son crying.
She kept patting his head to calm him down.
Manik- Mom I can't see my kids crying like this. It hurts Mom. It hurts. But I can't do anything. I feel so helpless.
Nyonika- shhh ... Shhh... Calm down Manik.
Manik- Ye Jo bhi horaha hai isme meri kya galti hai. Kya mai itna bura hu Jo mere ye sab mere sath horaha hai.
Nyonika- Manik bas karo Beta. Isme tumhari koi galti nahi hai. Don't be so hard on yourself.
Manik- Nai Mom. Mai hi bura hu. Sab meri galti hai. Yes. I am at fault.
Nyonika- Aisa mat bolo Beta. Please. Sab theek hojayega. Tum ek baat to meri baat pe dhyan do. Everything will be fine.
Manik broke the hug and said- Mom I want to stay alone for sometime. Please.
Nyonika-Ok.
And she left the room closing the door behind.
Done with another update.
It was too emotional for me. I cried literally while writing this.
