Him not winning for Swades was a joke

If SRK deserved for Swadesh and CiD then Aamir too deserved for many movies like RDB , Lagaan , Sarfarosh etc , Akshay for sangharsh, special 26 , baby , Airlift ... Or how abt Salman for tere Naam 😉 ( if I see SRK fans' logic ) 

National awards are not a joke, some are questionable like Saif for Hum Tum but the reason SRK and even Aamir have not won any even if they are good actors overall is because when you open up the acting category to the whole country you get incredible actors like Mammoty, Mohanlal and KamalHassan whose filmography and acting blows pretty much every BW actor out of the water barr Ajay Devgan   Edited by Justmoi - 8 years ago

NA is for outstanding performances out of so many and there are regional movies too  , yes once in a while blunder has happened like saif won thanks to his mom ... But 99.9 times its the most genuine awards and SRK didn't deserve it so he didn't win 

And Now since last few years he is too bcz making 3 days old movies so no chances 

SRK and Aamir both didnt win any National Awards though they deserved it for at least 2 movies each.

saif winning the NA for hum tum was a joke.not sure about the regional movies that year and how brilliant they were but SRK deserved it way more than saif that year..swades did get some award I believe..2004 had some good and different bollywood movies-raincoat,khakee,chameli,yuva,phir milenge,lakshya,maqbool👏

Saif winning for Hum tum was just 🤢
SRK for Swades would have been a better choice.

But none were anywhere near Mammootty's Madhavan in Kazhcha.
