I love raunchy Bollywood songs: Parineeti Chopra

Parineeti Chopra and cousin Priyanka Chopra are born performers. Parineeti says her fondest childhood memory is both of them singing with their fathers on stage.(Abhay Singh)

Actor Parineeti Chopra talks about the things she'd do if she were not a celebrity for a day, her sister Priyanka Chopra and the biggest turn-on in a man.

Birthday: October 22

Place of birth: Ambala, Haryana

Sun sign: Libra

School/college: Convent of Jesus and Mary, Ambala and University of Manchester

Currently I am: Endorsing Vadilal Ice-Cream and about to start my new film,Meri Pyaari Bindu

First break: Ladies vs Ricky Bahl (2011)

If not an actor, you would have been...

An investment banker.

What would you do if you were not a celebrity for a day?

I'd walk out of my house wearing whatever I want and I'd do whatever I want without caring about photographers.

A body part that you'd like to insure.

My brain.

What would you cook on a free day?

Nothing! I would order in.

Breakfast on-the-go would be...

A smoothie.

Three things you'd want if you were stranded on an island.

My loved ones, my scuba diving kit and my sunscreen lotion.

Style is...

Comfort.

An outfit you can live in.

Shorts and a T-shirt.

What's your fondest childhood memory of your cousin Priyanka?

We both used to stand on the stage and sing with our fathers.

The most expensive thing you carry

My phone. I'm pretty low maintenance.

What do you miss most about Ambala?

The clean air and the greenery.

One negative character you wish you'd played.

Mogambo.

One thing you were notorious for while growing up.

I was the loudest person in class.

A movie you lie about watching.

All those Gladiator, Lord of The Rings kind of films.

A martial art form you want to learn.

Parkour.

A dialogue that fits many situations.

Bade bade deshon mein aisi choti choti baatein hoti rehti hai.

What's on your bedside table?

A book, a bottle of water, and my phone.

The biggest turn-on in a man?

Simplicity.

And the biggest turn-off?

Self obsession.

Would you rather party or curl up in bed watching a movie/reading a book?

Curl up in bed watching a movie. Always.

One gadget on your mind...

The latest Apple TV.

Home is where the...

TV is.

The first line of your memoir would read...

She knows how to laugh...

My favourites

Food: Pizza, Pizza, Pizza

Adventure sport: Scuba diving

I thought she is saying this because she wants to do one. But the title is misleading, as usual. Even I love to workout to Bollywood songs, though not the terribly raunchy ones but a lot of Punjabi and weddingy ones.

Don't know why but I found the above part very sad to include in what you're working on

When she was chubby such roles were below her and she was out to do some meaningful movies. But now she has slimmed down she has been Instagraming her gym photos. Height of contradictions. Her and Sonakshi
