Coz Dhoom series is a big rage in India and its trailer n look made ppl to hot property to watch it got enormous buzz around its release time. 

It didn't even require any publicity... more so ever D3 got huge publicity during Sachin's last game in Int'l cricket when Aamir came for commentary.

Dhoom 3 released on non holiday then Christmas was like day 5. So It got all that juice . Then NYE also a little .
