I think they are pretty to play it across as Sansa becoming a player in the Game of Thrones by keeping things and manipulating situations. Which is a stupid idea since we haven't really gotten to seen how much she has learned under the tutelage of Littlefinger (Getting to see that would have been better than the whole Ramsay-Sansa marriage thing) )(The newest guess is also that Sansa might be pregnant with Ramsay's child )
I'm truly shocked with the way they are treating Davos right now, Like I can't believe it at all that this man who dedicated his life for Stannis is just dilly-dallying around while god knows what has happened to Stannis and Princess Shireen out there! The most in character step for Davos to take would have been to hold a sword to Mel's neck and make her fess up what happened, not sit quietly and ask her to do more blood magic for Jon Snow and be like "Stannis who?!"(Exactly! And Davos was always against the fire priestess, her religion, her magic. Now to go to her to save Jon is just...)
I think Sansa being pregnant with Ramsay's kid would become the straw that breaks the Camels back for all the Sansa lovers of GoT fandom. It would completely ruin the theme of her breaking out of the abuse cycle she has been put into. Her and Jaime's character paths have been seriously f'ed up since season 5. And they are one of the main characters in the story, Sansa especially so.
I think thats what they plan to do now. Blackfish is going to ask proof of Brienne's loyalty or something I guess OR they might go into battle against Jamie's forces? Who knows, It's all been a huge mess seriously.
Oh god, don't remind me of Dorne!
The way they butchered Dorne and Jaime simultaneously in one season still makes me so scared of any of their original version of the book. Jaime's entire character arc has gone to a toss, he has become nothing more than president and spokesperson of the Cersei fanclub.
Which is just so frustrating when you remember how his and Cersei's relationship actually is in the books and the show. Since they have missed all the good chances, I really wonder what is going to be the catalyst that finally pushes his storyline forward and away from Cersei because right now, She can so very easily manipulate his blind love for her.
Actually, even if they couldn't find a Jeyne Poole, they should have just dumped that storyline entirely! They could have totally worked a way around to show how Theon gathers the courage to break free of Ramsay's clutches and helps Sansa without having to ruin Sansa's storyline.
I really think this mistake will come and bite them later on because I always felt in the books that GRRM has purposely kept Sansa's character pure and still married to Tyrion because it may come into play later on when all the character paths reach a central point.
I love Jaime too
I used to hate him before but I love him now after reading the books
And I totally get what you mean about the show!Jaime too
Even I can't find anything worth discussing about Jaime in the show because his entire storyline is just about doing whatever Cersei wishes of him which is just pathetic considering how much potential he has if they just follow the book storyline properly.
I feel they are really trying very hard to whitewash the Lannister's in the show especially Cersei which is slightly disappointing because the beauty of Cersei's character is the tragic downward spiral from being one of the most powerful, The Queen of the Seven Kingdoms to just losing it all.
In the show they are badly trying to make all her bad decisions have some sort of reasoning so that the audience can sympathize with her character and not dislike her.
I think Davos will ultimately find out about Shireen if you look at the season trailer but I really don't think he is going to do anything since D&D seem to have a spot soft for the Red Woman and don't feel like killing her off.
