Architecture and Human psychlogy has lot of scope

My sister did Human psychology , she is fine  with it

Jump in and startLOL

Ok I've jumped LOL don't know how valuable/transferable my advice would be since I'm in the US - the economy and what companies are looking for may be very different in India. I got my bachelors in econ in 2012, was blessed enough to get into data analytics at the right time, and it's going great. Agreed on whoever said Java doesn't get you much attention from recruiters - focus on Python if you're into coding.

java is getting outdated

Python and .net has a good future

Its good to see people in India have started looking beyond windows too , many are learning linux based kernel systems

other than that data warehousing has good oppurtunities

Yeah true, in absence of any stats or cloud computing skills even SQL by itself makes you employable.

You should ask Janu about psych, she's licensed in it.

I find SQL pretty boring , if it has to be typed in original way on that black screen

those long codes for creating tables and tons of queries

I just let my wamp server do it , or some other 3rd party software write the code  like dreamweaver

Gene sequencing is a major application of bioinformatics, but it can be used for other applications as well and even pairs nicely with an interest in psych. Any kind of biological/public health data requires pattern analysis.
