Part 1
Khushi Kumari Gupta the princess of the Gupta mansion was sleeping peacefully in her room.
Khushi's POV.
I was sleeping peacefully not mattering what's going on around me. The only thing that matters to me right now is my sweet sleep. But suddenly some one pulls out my quilt. I feel irritated.
I shout "Akash Bhai I am still sleepy, don't irritate me otherwise it won't be good"
I shout without opening my eyes because I know he is the only one who has so much dare to irritate me when I am asleep.
Just then I realise Akash Bhai has gone to Mumbai.
I open my eyes to get the shock of my life.
My best friend lavanya and her husband Nk standing infront of me.
I get up hurriedly and rub my eyes again to assure that I am not dreaming.
Lavanya and NK just stand there smiling.
I again look at them.
Lavanya just smiles and comes near me and hug me without telling anything.
That's when I get to reality that lavanya is near me.
And I hug her back.
Tears just start flowing from my eyes. I still cannot believe that my friend is sitting next to me.
Just then My partner in crime cum jiju, lavanya's husband NK speak up.
NK:come on girls if you both keep hugging and crying whole day. I am gonna eat the whole cake.
Just then lavanya shouts breaking the hug.
Lavanya: dare you NK if u touch the cake see.
NK makes a puppy face.
I smile. Because they are the cutest couple ever.
I speak up "You guys will never change na."
Lavanya comes near me and sits beside me.
"We will never change but you khushi you have totally changed in these two years na."
I still remember the incident two years before, how I lost my love my arnav just because of a misunderstanding.
I was still in my thoughts when NK speak up.
"Here you have changed and there even Arnav has changed. He has again gone back into that cruel mode again."
A tear drop flow from eyes. Why is that I feel so much betrayed when I hear his name. No I cannot get this weak.
I wipe my tears out and look at NK and lavanya. They are looking at me with pleading eyes. But no I can never get weak.
I look outside the window and speak.
"If you guys have come here asking me to return back forgetting everything, then it's of no use. I am never gonna forgive your Bhai."
"You think we are so selfish khushi, we know what happened that day was not your mistake. All was Bhai's mistake. Knowing all this we would never tell you to return back. Just because we feel bad for Bhai. If he is my Bhai, even your my friend."
I smile looking at her. She is the best and loyal friend I can ever have. She still support me leaving her Bhai.
"Yes khushi we came here because it yours and lavanya's 2 years anniversary. It's two years since you guys became besties."
I smile, oh yes it's been 2 years since we became friends. Ohh so she bought the cake.
She too smiles seeing me smile.
"Always keep smiling khushi, you look beautiful this way."
I hug her "Happy anniversary."
"same to you" She says hugging me back.
I break the hug "You guys be out Bhabhi might have woke up, I will freshn up and come. Then we will cut the cake"
Lavanya nods and goes out. Even I too go to get freshn up.
Later after 30 mins I come to living room and find my Bhabhi, lavanya and NK sitting and chatting.
I go near them and hug my payal Bhabhi.
She smiles at me.
My Bhabhi has taken care of me like I am her own child not her sister in law.
"Ok now let's cut the cake" My Bhabhi speaks.
"But where is my champ ansh" I ask because my day never completes without him irritating me. because he is just like his dad my Akash Bhai.
"He went to school, he had some test so" NK speaks up.
I smile and just then lavanya gets the cake.
Me and lavanya cut the cake. We feed each other.
Later in night.
Me and lavanya are sitting on bed.
We were talking about all random things.
I badly wanted to ask her about him, but still something was stopping me.
Seeing me lost in thoughts, she spoke up.
"Bhai is not fine khushi, he has turned into same cruel person who had kidnapped you 2 years before."
I look at her with tears and guilt in my eyes.
"You know lavanya when he kidnapped me I never thought, I could ever love him. But fate proved me wrong. I loved him like there is no end but he just accused me of the thing I had never thought of also." I speak.
Lavanya rests her head on the bed post.
I continue.
"I still remember the way he treated me when he kidnapped me, but I have no issues with that but at least a bit of trust he would have shown on me"
I say with tears.
Lavanya speaks "khushi it's too late let's sleep"
Saying this she lies down facing her back to me.
And i start thinking of my past the day he kidnapped me...
