From what he said it seems Saif declined because of having to share screen space with so many characters and probably because KJo's students would be around.

He still doesn't seem to be out of backlash received due to humshakals. At various interviews he has tried to bring this film down.

What does he mean that the character was not properly represented? It was the most dignified representation such a character could get. It was sensitive, normal and not effeminate.

Ofcourse he made a terrible mistake by not choosing this movie.

But I am happy Fawad did it, so it doesnt matter.

This gay character was the only character I liked in the movie.
He probably meant gay representation needed an entire movie focused on it solely than having other added characters.
K&S to me was a khichdi. There was a lot more movie could have explored.
But cuz of limited screen time for all characters, movie couldn't do justice to all imo.
