Agree with the post. Yes. Delhi is the worst place in India where girls face grave danger.  CVs should have made the scene look real but they failed to do so. The confidence with which Elena said that she can come on her own will give a feeling that she should have acted with some more maturity and smartness.Instead she landed up in trouble and it looked a little unrealistic. But still for a moment I identified with Elena's situation and felt scared. So the scene worked to some extent. Seeing Vicky in that car I fumed and whatever I thought of him when he landed in police station became absolutely correct. That Mami's Ladla is fit for nothing fellow. I wish Dev would think twice before purchasing a car for him.

As you said you too faced similar situation, but you didn't act stupidly. You got down from the cab on a busy road and that kind of intelligence I wanted to see in elena. Because when she says sona not to pick her up, it somewhere implied that she is quite intelligent n can handle such situations pretty good.

What I felt is that the whole scene would have looked even more real if she had called sona much before like when she was still in the cab or sensed that driver is unnecessarily taking long routes. And for that, one needs Internet and enough battery life which she wasted on playing games. I said that's stupidity.

I agree with you that Delhi is not so safe for women.
By the way nice post. Between may I know your name?

Well here I think Elena did act over smart , she thought she can handle such situation , she just wanted to show her elder sister that she ain't a kid any more who needed to be escorted n accompanied for safe guarding from place to place , it was like throwing bravado which is quite common in adolescents. They act rash . They do all sorts of things like drunk driving n what not. That's teenage for you. I've done very many stupid things as a adolescents , which I know at the age of 23 think back n shiver to think what bad things could've befallen me n how risky it all was.

But ensuring safety should not just fall on the girl n her family's shoulder exclusively , even a stupid girl need to be totally safe n it's her right.

My name is Gargi. πŸ˜³ NIce to know you too. πŸ˜Š

@ Bold, it was her age talking ( Ain't saying there's no mature n level headed teenage girls though ) but many mature adults had been really immature n rash in their teenage , in that age you think you could take on the world yourself . and you're smart n experienced enough for that. They don't know how tide can turn n a girl can land in a potentially dangerous situation in our country where a girl needs to think twice before doing any thing.
