Let us celebrate Sri Rama Navami with some songs.
Rama-janana sarga is recited at noon (when he was born) and also pattabhisheka sarga. In Andhra, Sitaramakalyanam is performed with pomp on the same day. In north, its Ramacharitamanas parayan and bhajans.
Telugu:
This is a song describing Rama's birth by Sri Prayaga Rangadasa(maternal grandpa of Balamuralikrishna). Chaitra Suddha Navami, Karkataka lagna, Punarvasu Nakshatra etc.

Here Tyagaraja says to Rama that he became a king because he married Sita(Ma means 'our' in telugu and Lakshmi in Sanskrit). Since he married Lakshmi, he got all the glory and riches including the title 'Ravanari'
