Scene 1
We see Daya sir, ACP sir, Freddy sir, Purvi di and Pankaj examining a crime spot - a jewellery store which has been looted and one of the masked robbers is seen shot dead upon the floor. Daya sir remarks that the robbers weren't able to loot all the valuables and had to flee midway for some reason. The shop owner says that the dead robber's two companions had tried to shoot him (the owner) but he dodged and the robber was fatally shot instead, and the other two fled out of fear. Sachin sir comes up and informs that in the CCTV footage, the other two robbers were masked as well and cannot be identified. Freddy sir finds no ID in the dead robber's corpse. Daya sir finds a parking ticket of one Shopper's Paradise mall of that morning 8:45 AM. None of the shop staff recognize it, so the cops construe that the robber had been in the mall prior to the robbery.
Scene 2
ACP sir, Sachin sir, Purvi di and Pankaj visit the mall and demand for the parking incharge before proceeding to check if the car of the registration number mentioned on the parking ticket is there. Sachin sir finds it and roughly drags out the driver, but his girlfriend informs them that they had returned the parking card 5 minutes back and they had come there at 8:45. The parking incharge Vinod arrives and explains the parking system - there are 2 parking tags handed out; one kept with the staff and one with the car owner, and the car is returned after showing the tag. ACP sir asks if this car's tag is present with the staff. Vinod calls for a guy named Hira who shows them both the tags. The cops are surprised and wonder where this third identical tag came from. ACP sir gets a call with shocking news.
Scene 3
The same team arrives at a road where we see a driver Moahn lying shot and unconscious. He's taken off in an ambulance and a man is found shot dead inside the car parked there. He's identified as one Sudhir. ACP sir says that Mohan can tell them what happened.
Scene 4
In the hospital, Mohan tells the team that a masked man shot dead his employer Sudhir and kidnapped his 7-year old daughter Mansi. A flashback is shown - as the three are returning from the mall, on top of a bridge, a biker slips and falls in front of the car. Mohan got out to help him and when he returned to the car, he found the masked man sitting on the passenger seat with a gun, who forced him to take the car to that lonely road. When Mohan tried to resist him, the man shot him and took Mansi with him. Mohan says Sudhir was a good man with no enemies, and his other family member is his wife Vedika. Purvi di wonders why the kidnapper murdered Sudhir if the motive was ransom money. ACP sir says that perhaps that was the only chance to kidnap Mansi, and ransom could be demanded from Vedika as well.
Scene 5
Vedika is seen grieving at her home while the team comforts her. She explains that Sudhir had a meeting scheduled that day, but he canceled it and took Mansi out for shopping upon her insistence. Sachin sir wonders how the kidnapper found out about their plan if it wasn't made in advance. ACP sir says someone did know Sudhir would drive through that bridge, and therefore the kidnappers laid out their trap there. Vedika says nobody except her knew about their plans. Pankaj suggests that the kidnappers may have followed the car from the mall. ACP sir remarks that they found nothing purchased from the mall in the car, and also wonders why Sudhir decided to suddenly cancel his meeting and go to the mall.
Scene 6
The team observes CCTV footage at the mall and notices Sudhir checking his watch a bit too often. They observe Sudhir making a call, then Mohan comes and tells something to Sudhir. The latter walks away leaving Mansi with Mohan. Mohan takes Mansi with him, gets ice cream for her and attends to a call, before disconnecting and taking her to the parking lot. Sudhir meets them there looking serious, and they drive away, followed by a motorbike. Purvi di remarks that the kidnappers indeed followed Sudhir from the mall, and Sachin sir says that perhaps this same biker staged the accident on the bridge. ACP sir asks him to find out who is the bike owner.
Scene 7
The team finds out that the bike belongs to one of the mall staff named Raju. They check the bike and find clear signs of a crash. Raju is brought forward and says he doesn't know Sudhir, and he never drove out onto the bridge but Hira had taken it. ACP sir orders for Hira; Vinod says that Hira left soon after they arrived, and his phone is switched off. ACP sir orders for his phone to be tracked and house to be watched.
Scene 8
In the forensic lab, Dr. Salunkhe shows our team (ACP sir, Daya sir, Sachin sir and Shreya) that Sudhir was, in fact, shot roughly from the 7th or 8th floor of a building around 500m away from the car. He uses a trajectory diagram to demonstrate the same. ACP sir says Mohan lied to them about Sudhir having been shot from point blank range in front of him. ACP sir asks Sachin sir to call the hospital and order them not to let Mohan go anywhere, and tells Daya sir that they need to find out where the shooter was positioned. Sachin sir is told that Mohan has fled from the hospital. ACP sir orders for his house to be watched.
Scene 9
Abhijeet sir, Nikhil, Shreya and Mayur arrive on top of the bridge and discuss how Hira and his biker pal staged the accident while the shooter attacked Sudhir from the building. They estimate the path of the bullet to one building situated around 500m from there and enquire the watchman Neeraj there, who says only normal families live in that building and he doesn't know if anybody went up to the top floor at 11:30 AM as he only came on duty an hour ago. Abhijeet sir asks to be shown the terrace.
Scene 10
We see Mohan's wife Rekha nervously hiding inside her house. When the CID team (Daya sir, Sachin sir, Purvi di and Pankaj) enters, she threatens them with a kitchen knife and tells them to go away. Purvi di disarms her and hands her a slap. She says Mohan is not in the house and he's innocent. Daya sir informs her that Mohan murdered Sudhir and kidnapped Mansi. Rekha is shocked and says that Mohan lied to her as well; he called her a while ago to say that there are some people trying to kill both of them, and she must not let anybody into the house. He added that he needed money and clothes and would soon call again to inform where to go.
Scene 11
Abhijeet sir and the others check the terrace, and Nikhil finds the shell of the fired bullet there. One of the bystanders there says he had seen Neeraj in the morning while going down the lift. Neeraj starts arguing and says that he was at a friend's home during that time. Abhijeet sir asks Mayur to click a photo of Neeraj and match it in their database. Mayur complies and finds out that Neeraj is in fact a contract killer named Baalu. They confront Baalu, who bolts like a rabbit.
Scene 12
At Mohan's house, Rekha laments about Mohan having lied to her. Purvi di says he lied to them all and betrayed his employer, and like all criminals will end up in prison or the gallows (I loved the way she says it). At this point, Mohan calls and Purvi di orders Rekha to answer the call and turn on the speaker. The latter complies and Mohan demands if she's alone and if anyone troubled her. Rekha answers as ordered and asks him who the people out to kill them are. Mohan says he'll tell that later and asks her to meet him at a particular road with some money and clothes, as he's going out for some time and will return when things are normal. Rekha agrees.
Scene 13
The fleeing Baalu is captured and forced to confess that Mohan had asked him to murder Sudhir.
Scene 14
Rekha is seen waiting with a bag at the road as Mohan asked, while Daya sir, Sachin sir, Purvi di and Pankaj wait in hiding around her. Eventually an auto with Mohan drives up and she leaves in it. The team goes after the auto (with Daya sir on bike), stops it and catches Mohan. Mohan says he doesn't know where Mansi is, and he had paid Neeraj, Hira and some gundas to work for him. He says the guy who hired him to do all this has Mansi with him.
Scene 15
Mohan enters a dark building, where Hira confronts him at gunpoint and demands his share of money, or he'll kill Mansi. Mohan warns him not to harm her and says he's not gotten his money either. He blames Hira for dropping the parking tag at the jewellery store, which led the CID to them. Mohan meets Mansi who's glad to see him. At this point, an unidentified man holds both the men at gunpoint. They furiously demand their share of money. The man decides to shoot both of them since the CID is after them. The CID team comes there to defeat him and Daya sir rescues Mansi, who reunites with her mother. The culprit turns out to be Vinod, the parking incharge at the mall. His wife comes there and condemns him, saying he wanted to sell his own daughter and when she objected, he left her at an orphanage and now, wants to get her back by kidnapping her. She reveals that she's Mansi's biological mother.
Scene 16
Vinod confesses that he was in grave financial crisis in those days and thinking that he might not be able to take care of Mansi, left her at the orphanage hoping for a good future to her. But later, he regretted his decision and went to get her back, only to discover that she had been adopted by Sudhir. Despite repeated requests, Sudhir refused to give back Mansi to him. Therefore, he decided to murder him. He called Sudhir to the mall requesting to see Mansi one last time, and asked Mohan to put sedative in Mansi's ice cream so that she didn't witness the murder. He tried looting the jewellery store with Hira for money, but the parking ticket led to him being caught. The trio condemns his deeds and asks for him to be taken away. Vinod's wife apologizes to Vedika for her husband's crimes. The latter sympathizes with her and says she may visit them anytime she wishes. Vinod's wife hugs Mansi emotionally before giving her back to Vedika. Mansi invites her to live with them and our team witnesses the reunion with joy.
