TOI:Heavily pregnant Amrapali faints on the set of her show

 The makers are planning to wrap up her track in three days.

Impressed with her negative avatar in 'Qubool Hai', the makers of the TV show roped in Amrapali Gupta to repeat the mean act in their new project 'Adhuri Kahaani Humari'. Since the actress was seven-month pregnant, the storyline was tweaked. Her character of a snake-woman was also shown pregnant, which was in sync with her condition in real life. Given the importance of her character, the shooting was being done at an intense pace, which the actress couldn't handle.


Apparently, a few days ago, she complained of breathlessness and fainted. Keeping in mind her pregnancy, the makers have now decided to wrap up her track in three days. However, Amrapali is not aware of this development. She says, "I was tired and unwell for two days. That must have prompted the production house to take this call. I have not been informed about it though."

Producer Gul Khan says, "Amrapali is a good friend and a wonderful artiste. Having said that, we are aware of her pregnancy and are concerned about her health. Given her advanced stages of pregnancy, we are giving a temporary break to her character."

I use to wish she gets pregnant when she made her entry in QH. That would have forced Gul to cut short her role and we would have been saved from Jammy and Tanu scenes 😆
