Surbhi Jyoti is an Indian television actress and TV anchor. She is also a popular face in Punjabi movies and Punjabi soap operas. She came into limelight for playing the lead role in Zee TV's soap opera Qubool Hai as Zoya Farooqui. She is currently seen playing the role of Mahira in the same series after the leap of 25 years.She  was born on May 29, 1988 into a Punjabi-Brahmin family hailing from Jalandhar. She was also an RJ and hosted several shows. She is a talented theatre artist and debater who has won the national debate competition thrice. After making a number of appearances in Punjabi movies, she was selected to play the character of Zoya in her television debut show "Qubool Hai" on Zee TV. She did the role of mahira , sanam , seher , zoya & jannat.
