TS: It's in those eyes
Part One...
Running sneakingly, she made her way
into the woods. Her heart- running at a very at pace. Her breathing-
labored. The sun was on its way to set down making the bright blue of
the sky turn towards the darker shade. She kept looking back from time
to time. Her mind warning her again and again to hurry or the followers
might caught her.
After another 10 minute run, she finally
found the farm house that her friend had pointed out before to her. It
belong to her friend, Neeti's parents. She knew it would be a perfect
hideout for her to be in till Neeti can approach her. In addition, the
food arrangement has been taken care off by Neeti and as the jungle was
just out of the way area, there were no reception singles.
Opening
the door, she took a deep relaxing breath before closing it behind
herself. The lights were on. She hoped to find the watchman who was
taking care of this place but found no one in sight. "Hello...Is someone
there?" She inquired loudly but no one responded.
Anyway,
she was safe here for the time and that was enough. Feeling her throat
dry, she made her way towards the open kitchen. Water. She badly needed
it. But after taking hold of the bottle, as she made her way out back to
the living room, uncorking it and taking a gulp straight out...Her
eyes figured out something causing the whole water splashed out from her
mouth, leaving her step back with a small shriek.
There,
on the floor beside the sofa, was laying a body. And the way the eyes
were wide open showing the brownest of orbs and foam was making a way
out from his mouth, she figured it out. It was a dead body.
-----------------------
Having
no source of communication with the city dwellers, she hiccuped and
leaned against the wall after waking up next morning. She realized that
last night, she went to sleep in a trance. Her eyes get stuck on the
body laying in a dis heaved position infront. As if he was trying to sit
on the sofa but instead, had fell down before dying. Yesterday, after
finding the body, she has been too shocked to notice anything else but
now, she gave it a precise review. The color of the body had started to
get change from brown towards blue. His leg was swelled badly. Thank
goodness, the house had two bedrooms along with the living room as she
finally stood up and made her way towards one, hoping that the watchman
will arrive soon. Atleast today and explain THIS.
Spending a whole night alone with a dead body was so not fun. But then, she didn't had any other choice. She couldn't go anywhere. Atleast not till tomorrow.
Geet Handa belonged to a considerably wealthy and powerful family of a small village. Her grandfather was the Sarpanch and her father had followed the lead. Her Chacha was an SHO of the same but where her grandfather and Chacha had always admonished girl's education, her father supported it. He was the reason that she could move to the city and complete her education in mass communication but right after two months of her return back to village, her father passed away. Being the one in row, her Chacha get hold of the throne(sarpanch) and so got all rights to decide the future of his village and its people. But she proved out to be His first target.
While, her father was on the way to fix her marriage with a well educated boy of Chandigarh who was also Geet's classmate, her chacha cancelled that alliance and instead fixed her up with an illiterate but a powerful family's boy of other village. Neeti, who was Geet's best friend had advised her to run away as no one was going to hear her out otherwise but things were moving at a fast pace. Her chacha had invited the family over without any warning and Geet had to act. Her documents and other certificates were already been burnt by her Chacha so without caring about anyone, she ran out from the window when all of her cousins went out to greet the eligible bachelor. She knew her Chacha will use all his powers to get to her. To punish her. So she had to act wisely. With the help of one of her's father trusted man, she escaped the village and made him drop her near the outskirts. Later she changed few transports just to confuse others and finally made her way here.
But not in a million thoughts, she ever even imagined to get arrested in a house that will be hosting a dead body.
Sitting
on the bed with a shivering self, she looked at the door of the room
with a fear. All old stories and thought of dead walking were running
back and forth into her mind. She was so (not)hoping to get that door
opened flush in a wink and in walking, a zombie but nothing like that
happened.
After good 4-5 hours, literally shaking
with fear, when she couldn't take it anymore, she made her way out. The
man, was still laying at the place she had left him on. Walking
hesitantly, she stepped close before hunching down on her knees. For the
first time, she observed his face from close.
"He is indeed an handsome man" She thought and then, looking up, ran her palm over his eyes to get the lids close. The intensity of those brown orbs were making her more scared.

"Is he anyone related to Neeti? But then, I have never seen him in any of the family pics she had shown" She wondered and started to check the pockets. In one of them, she found a revolver. (A red-hawk with .44mag)
Her eyes went wide.
Either he was a killer, an intruder or a hunter, considering the location.
She searched the other pockets but found nothing else than a handkerchief.
In a corner, she noticed something inscribed with embroidery.
"MVSK" she read it loudly before looking at the man.
"Who was he?"
